Copyright Reminder

Rules

Follow the rules or I be eating ye! >:3

Just a reminder for those making customs that are based on a character which they don't own the rights to.

1. If you have previously created a custom inspired by a character, you will still need to submit it at the Character Copyright Board. If your design doesn't meet the 60% difference rule, you will be supplied with a Dawn Crystal to cover any changes that need to be made.

2. If you're planning on making a custom based on a character that could be covered by copyright laws, you must submit a form at the board.

3. Should any Gen2 pets have a symbol relating to the media the parent(s) are from anywhere on the baby design, they have to be submitted on the Breeding Mistakes thread.. If you are unsure about this, send me a message and I can confirm if the design needs to be fixed.

4. Attempting to cheat the system to keep your custom puts the entire site in jeopardy. As such, anyone found to be concealing information on which judging their custom is vital risks losing their custom without refund. From this point on I'll be sending out messages to those owning customs that need to be submitted. Refusal to submit a form, after being reminded, may result in your custom being removed without refund.

For more in depth answers on the Copyright Rule, check out the F.A.Q..

Don't make fun of those breading coins! They are still as expensive as heck and chaos asks for them a lot. It may not be as cool as the item its a gag to but at least its somefin.

Good ol' Indiana Jones. I am far from the first, but I posted anyway because I felt like I had to say how ADORABLE that is.

Yes, the Cthulhu is technically not covered by copyright laws now. Of course, it also depends on the Cthulhu you choose to represent. For instance, Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean is probably copyrighted by Disney now, so that would still be subject to copy right.
