Info on Line-art Switches.

Pets

yay!

Good sirs and madams, pray, sit ye 'round, for I have knowledge to impart!

It seems there is a little confusion over some of the finer details concerning all this line-art switching business. I have compiled below a small list of answers to things that have either been asked of me, or things I have seen mentioned on the forums.

Official Site Colouration Switches

- currently open for the Insi only. I will begin doing switches for other species when their colouration revamps are complete and announced via the News. I need them to be staggered for a reason - imagine how much mail I would receive every day were I doing Insis, Reves, Solis, Gaels, Melos, Phantos, custom switches, artist copy/pay and refunds all at the same time!
- the grace period for each species is a month long from the time their revamp is announced in the News. The Melo may conceivably be open for longer as there are [a] so many colourations and [b] it is a very popular pet.
- I do have all the old images! *pats hungry hard-drive*
- if you want the old line-art of a Maned Lion Melo, you must provide me with an actual Maned Lion Melo pet. I will not overlay old images on a completely different species.
- the only info I need from you is the colouration name alongside the pet ID to be overlaid, e.g. Purple Creeper Insi - #99999. There is no limit to how many pets you may request switched, as long as you are within the species' grace period. Just send 'em in a nice big long list and wait for the magic.

Old-to-New Custom Line-art Switches

- accepting all of the species with revamped lines.
- mutants are not eligible due to their tendency to bite with multiple heads whenever I try to do anything to them (or see the thread with word from Frey here).
- I require only the pet ID number and a link/embedded image of the new line-art you would like overlaid on the aforementioned ID.
- I do save the old images, just in case there is ever any need for them.
- you may send me as many or as few as you like at any one time. I don't expect you to wait until all your customs have been re-designed. Where would be the fun in that? :D
- the grace period is somewhere in the region of six months.

If you have a question I have not addressed, or if there is anything you would like further clarification on, feel free to ask in the comments or send me a PM.

I hope you're all enjoying redoing your customs! I've sure seen some gorgeous work so far.

Are the new to old lineart switches going to list them as customs instead of their coloration?

Wyr: Yes, as I cannot modify the image of an individual pet without it becoming a custom.
