After a long day and night of debating minuscule changes (but hey, it made it look better), we finally came to a decision regarding the melo. It's going into a revamp, and we've fixed things as much as we could to make as many people happy as possible while still retaining sensibility to our style.
Submit new Melo Colorations!
If you are unhappy with the melo's new lines, you should be pleased to know that we are coming out with another set of crystals that will let you submit old lineart pets directly without having to make them as new lineart pets first.
Thanks for sharing all your opinions, comments, and fixes, and we hope you can enjoy the new melo. We will let you know when the revamp is complete (when all site colors have been revamped). Until then, feel free to submit old lineart melos as you desire.
There's an Ay feline pet coming soon too... look forward to it!

Its cute... but now it's a dog, not a cat. It has no features resembling a cat... so its name "Melo" which sounds cat-like, is now not at all catlike...

I've never seen a dog with a face like that...XD And you can usually see a dog's nails, and you can't see a Melo's...like a cat. It seems pretty balanced IMO. I really like it, good job! >w>

I do like the compromise reached in the new lineart...but don't we already have a feline Finx? Or will the new feline be catchable in explore?

And I really, really think the new melo is the best of both worlds. I wasn't a huge fan of the re-inked version OR the new lines, but this one I've kind of fallen for after staring at it for a while. xD
