After a long day and night of debating minuscule changes (but hey, it made it look better), we finally came to a decision regarding the melo. It's going into a revamp, and we've fixed things as much as we could to make as many people happy as possible while still retaining sensibility to our style.
Submit new Melo Colorations!
If you are unhappy with the melo's new lines, you should be pleased to know that we are coming out with another set of crystals that will let you submit old lineart pets directly without having to make them as new lineart pets first.
Thanks for sharing all your opinions, comments, and fixes, and we hope you can enjoy the new melo. We will let you know when the revamp is complete (when all site colors have been revamped). Until then, feel free to submit old lineart melos as you desire.
There's an Ay feline pet coming soon too... look forward to it!

Also. Could just be me. But this has more of a "fox" feel to me. As opposed to the cat/dog feel of the original melo.

This looks so much better, I like it C: But, the muzzle looks kind of weird...almost crooked? or something haha I cant think of how to explain it

If people have further complaints...you DO REALIZE there's a topic in Aywas talk where you can look at all of the improvements and voice things there, right? :P
I was there for hours, it looks 1000x better than before.

I still prefer the old line art. There are just to many things that I don't like about the redraw. The muzzle looks a bit odd. The cheek is just to pointy. I also do not care for the way the ear hair is done it looks too spiked. Also, the back leg appears to small or out of proportion. And the tail is just to overly thick, as are the legs. I also like the one springdragon (#650) posted on pg. 28. I am hoping for something more like it or the original to be kept.
