After a long day and night of debating minuscule changes (but hey, it made it look better), we finally came to a decision regarding the melo. It's going into a revamp, and we've fixed things as much as we could to make as many people happy as possible while still retaining sensibility to our style.
Submit new Melo Colorations!
If you are unhappy with the melo's new lines, you should be pleased to know that we are coming out with another set of crystals that will let you submit old lineart pets directly without having to make them as new lineart pets first.
Thanks for sharing all your opinions, comments, and fixes, and we hope you can enjoy the new melo. We will let you know when the revamp is complete (when all site colors have been revamped). Until then, feel free to submit old lineart melos as you desire.
There's an Ay feline pet coming soon too... look forward to it!

Um... I.. can't tell a difference.. I'm sorry you've had to change the melo a good 400 times because people lack the capacity to decide or agree on anything.. I just got home from work an heard from my Nyxie that it was changed a ridiculous amount XD uh.. for the sake of staying on topic *still can't tell the difference* uhh... large?

This one looks a lot more natural than the last melo picture
but I gotta agree that the mouth/muzzle area is very awkward
other than that I love this one

Personally, I'm still leaning towards the first version from the poll. I'm not very fond of the pointy cheek, or the 'spiked/ice shard' ear hair. I do however like the one springdragon (#650) posted on pg. 28. It doesn't have a flat affect, the expression and eyes are darling and I like the cheek. I'm crossing my fingers it ends up like that, or stays more the same.

You can't even really tell the difference unless you know it's there (I had to layer them to figure it out)... but large is slightly nicer

(For those who can't see it, the one on the right has an every so slightly longer line angling toward the face from the top of the nose leather, giving the muzzle a slightly longer look.)
I prefer that one.

If we have to revamp the melo... I like the reline better. =/ Just. Not a fan of the redraw at all. (nose is crooked on this, and... I don't see the difference between "small" and "large"??)
