Anyway, so someone asked what a re-inked melo (as opposed to redrawn) would look like, so we produced this.
Which do you like better? I'm fairly ambivalent either way.

Love the ears and tail of the second, but i cant stand the feet and face personally.

Ash (I assume?) - That is pretty cute, I'll agree. I'm not fond of the tail though simply because it's bigger. XD Keeping edit percentages in mind. The tail is the thing I edit most with customs. The ears look pretty cute on the old melo though.

They both look good, but they are so close to the current version it hardly seems worth the effort. The current melo is every bit as good as either of the ones offered. So why change it at all?

Why couldn't there be a 'neither' option. I still don't see why it needs to change, since all the changes i've seen to the eyes and head have been not to my taste. If I could, i'd vote for keeping it as is, the face and eyes and neck look fine to me. Plus the 2nd's one face is weird.

Krysteenah - I'm not against my melos being changed really. It needs to be retouched. I'm just against it being changed to that particular melo, and I think it's the same case for a lot of people. It's good art, but I highly dislike the face, and it... doesn't really look like a melo to me, except for the pose. I don't see it growing on me if that's the one that goes through, at all. I agree that the shading is inconsistant though. XD I like Griffinsong's attempt at reshading in the Aywas Talk forums. It makes the eyes look less creepy too.
