After a looooooong thread of tweaks and redraws, here's our final melo lineart. (:
Looking forward to having the melos recolored on this. They'll look great with a coloring update! Don't forget if there are tiny things bugging you on the lineart, you can change them on your customs. Can't make everyone happy!
We are hoping to have the Phanto revamp finished in the next week. I'm currently gathering some new colorations to chase around with a harvest/spooky theme, since that'll be fun for Phantos. (:
What kind of Phantos would you enjoy seeing? We have some ideas for ghost phantos, harvest, etc but feel free to share ideas.

Skyra, it's got a short muzzle. That's definitely not a dog feature. And it's got round, soft looking feet, like a cat. Dogs have sorta spade-shaped feet with prominent nails. And the little thumb/5th digit thing is more catlike than doglike. What were its feline features before? o_o
And I'm definitely not a wolfaboo, but we've got a massive surplus of cat pets compared to dog pets--Vion, Lunaris, Finx, Flux, Manticore, and Shisa vs just the Orimi (though now with the new pets, Cerby and Suune). So if you're seeking cats and find the new Melo too doglike, there are many, many other kitties out there.

I don't see how it's any more or less catlike than the old one, Skyra. o_o Frankly both the old and new melos have very little resemblance to felines or canines (which is why it's such a good base for customs).

It looks very good. As far as the phantos go, I'd love to see more demonic, skeletal, monstery types.

I want blue phantos and red phantos and black phantos and ice phantos and starry phantos and *squeals* i like the revamped ghosties.

*squeebles* I like this softer version of the melo when compared to the old line-art! Looks like I won't have to bite my nails when it comes to the switch, then. XD

Ew, I hate it. No feline features at all, and that's what I like mostly about the melos - that they're partly CAT. Having a stupid looking plain wolf annoys me.
