Hello my friends, here is some news for you. I released the august pets. The August 2010 Potion is in existence and ready to buy at 5 GP, but seems to be erroring on me. OTL It'll get fixed soon.
Cash Shop Pets:
You'll notice something different. They are all in the cash shop at 8 GP, or you can gamble for your favorite one using the potion (potion includes BP shop pets).
BP Shop pets:
You'll notice one other BP Shop pet in there, the most expensive and therefore the BP Shop August 2010 pet.
The species is called a Maki. If you want to make any custom ones, these are governed under Custom Crystals.

These are all gorgeous. Just a couple of things I am wondering about though.
What about the previous pets in the BP shop - the ones that were not "monthly" ones. I was saving for some of those and was expecting to see them back again, especially after being told to send back my Fairy Dragon Melo that I caught in explore because it was a glitch and the shop pet should not be there. Stupid of me, but I expected it to come back into the shop.
Also wondering, like a previous poster, whether the essence potion will be available for BP again as I liked having that option.
I am glad to see the chance to pick a specific pet for GP though. The randomness of the potion and not getting my favourite has definitely been a large part of my decision in the past to not pay for GP. The option to pay a little more for my favourite is definitely something I am glad to see.
