Hey users, I have an announcement to make regarding Flux and Lunaris breedings.
Slash has informed me that Flux and Lunaris LBC breedings weren't supposed to get 2 offspring every time bred. So from now on, be aware that Flux LBC breedings have a 70% chance of giving only 1 offspring (will be rolled, 30% is for 2), and Lunaris LBC breedings will only give 1 offspring 100% of the time.
Now, this affects all Flux/Lunaris breedings in queue currently and in the future. If you have any in queue at the moment and you want a refund of your LBC because of the rule change, please let me know and I'll refund your LBC as such. I've instructed my artists to stop working on them until everyone currently in queue has chosen if they want to continue with the breeding or not.
Past recipients of Flux/Lunaris offspring are not affected by this. Again, this only applies to current/future Flux/Lunaris breedings.

You're right, they do have the right to mass breed a pet or sell the offspring for less money. And they still have that right. They can still go out and mass breed their pet, I'm just not going to let them do it cheaply. Price will disincentivize mass breeding thus leading to my goal.

I think we should trust Slash on this one. It is difficult to stabilize an economy on a game like this and sometimes things need to be altered, it just comes with the territory. We should be happy that we are around so early in what hopefully is a long lived game, that we can look back on these days and feel special. I am sure that slash is doing this for the better of the game, not to anger everyone that is breeding.
I was surprised that the flux were breed-able at all, them being a scav only species and all.

Whatever happens, please just don't make the Lunaris unbreedable. I want to buy an Aries Lunaris and breed it with my Cancer Lunaris so bad. I've wanted that since they came out, and yeah, it means a lot to me seeing as I'm a Cancer and my hubby's and Aries...

I feel bad for people who have current breedings but I understand what Slash is trying to do. I trust that Slash knows what needs to be done and I'm sure if people want something bad enough they'll figure a way

i just wish that the breeding i've been waiting for would get two hot lunaris babes, instead of one, but oh well.

Well... personally I would've preferred if the people who already had a queue were allowed to get the old chances, what was in place when they set their queue up, but at least they're getting the option of a refund. I of course get wanting to stabilize the breeding and rarity of these pets, (I've been on more than one pet site where prices have just gone out of control), but... just feel sorry for the people whose plans got messed by this. :c

If people wanted something to be rare, they wouldn't breed it as often. It's the breeder and buyer's prerogative to determine when to breed, how often to breed, and how to price their offspring. Value is determined by what people are willing to pay for any given item. I understand that things change, but honestly, Slash, you could have and should have set a poll about this first.
If people want to mass-breed one of their pets, they should be allowed to do so. If people want to sell the offspring for less money than you believe should be asked for, it's their right, not yours. You aren't paying for the breeding coins, you aren't paying for the breeding predicts.
