With the release of the new hybrids users have questioned the difference between the coloring on the original defaults versus the coloring on the newer defaults. So we want your opinion... Should we recolor the quetzal, griffin, kyre, and paleo defaults or leave them as they are? By tomorrow night this poll must have reached a 60% user acceptance in order for us to implement this. We will be hosting a contest with 12 winners in total (the 2 we like best of each species) and will hold another poll for users to pick their favorite in order to choose which entry will be the new default.
I'd also like to give everyone a heads up that along with our Monthly Pet Design, Monthly BP Shop, and Monthly Custom contests I will also be posting a Poem Contest tomorrow for July. You'll be asked to create 3 Aywas related poems and winners will get to choose from a prize pool. More details will be included when I post links to the new contests tomorrow. Judging forms for the current contests will be sent out tonight so hurry up and get your last minute entries in!
Speaking of judging contests, i'm in dire need of more judges! Don't forget to post your application on this thread and help out your fellow players!
Last but not least, the coloration threads currently found in events will be gone through tomorrow and gp will be awarded to accepted colorations in time for the BC release.

I like the colors as is, but as Skitty pointed out, there are some minor errors in coloring. But to me, it doesn't seem like a glaring necessity.

No. I don't think you should.
You should just accept new site-colors of the 'default' ones, so it's not just skyshine, bloodfeather, pitchblack, majestic, beast, etc.
It looks kind of dumb to see "Kyre (1), Griffin (1)" and so on, all down the list of what people own on their lairs, when there's always "Melo (521)" or something in there, too. xD Why not just let there be more than one default color per hybrid?
People might actually want to breed their customs with 'site colors' if you did that-- I can't count the times I've seen "breeding: no inbreeding..oh, and no skyshines" on a hybrid's profile.

I kind of like what Dember said, having more regular colors for hybrids. But I'm sure there's some reason for that and it won't happen. But I did vote for recolors as long as I can have a Dawn Crystal like BJ said.

Dember has a good point. Otherwise, I'm fine with the dawn crystal and such. If I don't like the new ones, I can change mine back.
