Hi guys! Here's something I've been thinking about: many of you seem to really dislike the phanto, and I'd like to ask: why? Is it because it's not animal-enough? What about the design or pet in general do you dislike?
We have been considering changing the phanto into a ghost dog-like sort of thing (not necessarily a dog, but a ghost quad). Would you like the phanto more this way? Do you prefer it the way it is now? We want you to be happy!

Don't change the Phanto. Even though I don't have any customs of them at the moment, they're one of my favorite pets. I love all of the site phanto colorations. They lend themselves well to pretty much anything. You can make a very good custom of one, without making it gold. Sometime, I've definitely got to make myself a Phanto custom.

It's just how cutesy they look when they're supposed to be... you know, cryptic and scary. Skitty's line art ftw, I agree. I'd love phantos a lot more if they weren't just smiling blankly.

I think I'm not a fan of them because it doesn't have a lot of good colorations.

Personally I prefer collecting pets, and the Phanto is neither an animal nor does it have markings I think are pretty or collectable... BUT... Aywas is great because there's "something for everyone". I wouldn't ask for the Phanto to be drastically changed just because it's not my preference; it's clear there are many people for whom it IS their preference.

I dislike their expression, the only Phanto I own that I actually want to keep, and not use as zap fodder, is my Lost Doll Phanto. I probably only like it because it's the only one with a different facial expression, even then it's not one of my favourite pets, but i'd be more likely to want to collect them if they at least had a better expression. I'm unsure about the rest of the body, but I think i'm generally happy with it.
