The Elphin is now the active Raw genus, which means that you can purchase the Tidepool Elphin in the BP Shop! It will remain the active genus until July, so be sure to make a note of this in case you wish to make any!

As a reminder, the Seasonal Shop will be open until 11:59 PM AST tonight, May 1st! Please make sure that you finish purchasing anything that you were wanting before this time. At this time, you no longer need to deposit an egg before picking one up in the Egg Field. Once all of the eggs are gone, the field will be closed until next year, so please ensure that you have been downloading any PSDs and such that you may have received throughout the course of the month!
With May finally upon us, the Mayday Exotic Sale will be here before you know it! The sale will run May 13th through May 17th, with May 18th being the normal credit day. Further information with an overview of all of the days will be posted on May 6th.

I was kinda sad didn't think I'd get the Pluma, but the potions are also available for 600K BP, so that's pretty cheap imo.

RavenFeather (#49189) unfortunately making it so we can choose would probably be more coding rather than less which would defeat the point of the simplification of the monthly shops.
If you really want a Monarch Butterfly Pluma (which I'm super happy to see people love that I made it,) I'd recommend searching out a glittering rock/potion which allows you to choose what species your active pet turns into. It's a bit more expensive but you don't have to mess with rng to get what you want.

Archenitesky (#70057) There are already existing items that let you choose specific things though, like the glittering rock, etc., so I feel it'd be pretty easy and quick to put that function on another item so that's why I mention it. The coding already exists so it's nothing they'd have to make new, the only change would obviously be to input the specific months' pets, but they do that now anyway with having to change them out every 2 months, just a little different.
I do thank you for the suggestions, but I unfortunately don't want to spend more on something that I could technically get for cheaper so that's why I won't pay more than the 600k BP shop price on anything to get one. I know that's my own decision, but it's what I've always gone by, I've sometimes waited months before to get stuff on other sites that I know will be back in stock for its regular price. Lol If I ever were to get into the bi-monthly potions I'd even only sell unwanted pets for the price I paid since I feel that's only fair. So I guess I'll simply do without until I can find the Pluma for 600k BP. ^^' But it's disappointing that Aywas made this decision that makes getting pets harder and more annoying.
Regardless, it certainly is a really pretty Pluma! You did a really great job! I do hope to one day have one in my lair. ^-^

I wasn't really happy about the monthly pet change in the first place, but the majority of the time I'm not too interested in any of the monthly pets so it never affected me. Now though I really want just the Monarch Pluma since I love monarch butterflies and have been slowly collecting all of the pets themed as them, but I'll likely never get the Pluma now since I'm not spending money on gambling with loot boxes. :/
I wasn't aware of a recode happening, but I fully understand that coding is time-consuming, so sure, put the pets into potions every two months to ease up on having to code in each individual pet for sale every month, that's fine. But make it so we can CHOOSE the pet we want, not random. I just don't see why that couldn't have been an option.
