Predict Pool Party - Grace Period

Site Update

Friendly reminder that you have a little less than a week, until August 31st at 11:59 PM AST (the clock up in the top corner of the Aywas page!), to submit your predictions for PPP perks.

Predictions that are rejected for legitimate fixes will receive 3 days from the date their breeding is rejected after this deadline to resubmit with fixed predictions.
- Predictions that are submitted purposefully to be rejected (ex. like submitting a blank base without the proper add-on, or an offspring with no marking/edit mixes for LBC) will not receive an extension.
- If your prediction is rejected on 8/31, you have until 11:59 on 9/3 to upload a fixed image.

Oh, also!
If you have a Holiday Breeding Coin that needs to be processed, you must post it in the HBC Prediction Check thread and if you have a PBC predict please PM Juke #7625 with the breeding ID! Otherwise they will not be processed!

It looks like they're currently available as well. I almost never use mbc's so I honestly forget they were there xD

hii! i have a question related to ppp - i'm tryin to bang out a few predicts before the deadline (i was unable to get to them for personal reasons), and i was wondering if we're required to make the maximum amount of predicts? specifically, i had an lbp breeding roll a squishy, and i was wondering if it would be possible to just make the squishy. i know i've had breedings processed before with less predicts than were 'required,' but i just wanted to make sure :-) thank you!

As long as you put in your breeding notes that you don't want all the babies, your breedings will be processed as normal. :] - TJ

I was afraid that there is no time for me to fix the ones that just got rejected just now are they included in that extension? They where rushed ones I can explain in a PM if staff wants too what real life is keeping me from doing the fixes and even 3 days might be tricky.

If someone cut contact or didn't reply please PM a mod with information so we can look into it.

However, this is the same timeframe we gave last year, for the same reason. Artists should be aware of it and if any avoid doing fixes, we can look into if it's a TOS violation and go from there, but, Kita has stated the 3-day rule is a hard rule given the time frame to get PPP predictions made and uploaded, and artists being aware of the cutoff.

PPP is supposed to be 2 months, month 3 was added as "catch up/fixes" and has been that way the last 2 years, rather than having to reject + document every rejection to give 30 days to fix that but a burden on helpers, and artists who had to wait forever to get rejections to the artist ect for fixes due to the slowdown it caused in year 1.

However the short of it all is we'll still enforce rules, for artists that ghost you, but rules are still hardline because of enforcement issues in the past when it was longer, or users "cheesing" it by submitting things they knew would be rejected to get 30 more days.

it seems every year artsts "ghost" off ... I always have 3 or 4 breedings at the end of PPP that never get finished. I finally got one finished this year that I've had since 2018 since the artist then had health issues and said they would be able to get to it later ... and then last year I tried to find another artist and same thing happened. This time I had one who sent me previews last month then never messaged me back with finished pets and another artist who sent me a message Sunday saying they would have them done then and never got back to me.

It happens every year so it's not that big a deal.... I'd rather wait and actually get the predicts done than to report them, and have them get in trouble and possibly banned. It's hard enough to find artists to do predicts without a reputation of getting people in trouble for taking longer on things.
