Hey guys! So as a lot of people know we had some massive delays with the Black Friday sets being response to due to several reasons.
So staff has been talking, what is everyone's opinion on delaying the Black Friday sale to mid December? This would give you more time to save for sets or the special items, it would be a good opportunity to shop for Aymas, and it would give our artists time to make more sets!
Yes, extend it! December is a better time for it for me!

Doesn't really matter to me, since I am barely here and don't spend money on this site anymore. But....I mean, if it's in mid-December, it's not really Black Friday anymore. It's more a Holiday Sale.

This is both good and horrible for me. GOod because I can get some more sets in horrible because I have a bill due and absolutely NEEDED the money to keep from having my electricity from being turned off. I realize the answer is going to be no... but is there ANY way we could be paid for sets BEFORE the middle of december since I feel like a lot of us artists were kind of banking on that money for some reason or other whether it be for bills or black friday sales etc. And I'm with a whoever it was that said the time for opening/ accepting sets should be pushed to earlier. Especially given how long it took to hear back about anything this sale.
TL:DR I'm in the minority, I needed that money sooner rather than later :/ but I guess I can do more sets if I manage to keep my electricity on?

Honey (#25910) Budgeting shouldn't really be an issue (aside from artists who would want to be paid for sets sooner)... I mean if you already set aside money to spend on Black Friday you have it set aside and in your budget, so pushing the sale off a week or two shouldn't effect what you already have budgeted

Well, put it in Dec and people have to choose between Dec shop stuff and BF deals. It's not optimal at all.

Also it's not just a week. Mid Dec is like 2+ weeks later, which makes a huge difference.

Compromise: why don't we have two rounds? One on Black Friday as expected with what we have, but an extra Teo pot for Christmas for the stragglers?
I mean I voted for extra time, but if the only reason to HAVE extra time is so we can get more teos in why don't we just have more teos but later

I personally think December is an AWFUL time to hold a sale! It’s right before Christmas, so not only are most people budgeting like no tomorrow to afford all the holiday shenanigans, but people are genuinely BUSY - work, especially in retail, food or community settings. Most companies have their Christmas parties in December, peoples work hours are extended, and never mind overall business of friends and family commitments.
I would personally be more inclined to encourage the site to have the required deadlines for (future) Black Friday sales set for like, 1 month before the actual sales. That way there is less chance of RL mayhem causing a ruckus. Everyone would have time to submit etc well before they would actually go on display.
That’s just me, but yeah. December?? Really? XD
