It's almost time for our Black Friday extravaganza! I'm beginning the work of uploading the amazing exotics that our artists have completed for you, however we've run into a little snag.
Due to some storms for some of our staff members, exotics are still able to be claimed with Mayday eggs.
***Be warned that ANYONE that claims an exotic with a Mayday egg will earn themselves an automatic one month ban and the pet will be revoked and your egg will not be refunded.***
Start your shopping lists now, but remember, until the Black Friday event starts, you can look but you can't touch!

Also, the statement that is being brought into question seems to be ignoring the prior sentence. "However, we have run into a little snag." which is then accentuated by "Due to some storms for our staff members". Staff has run into a problem that currently can't be fixed, due to the fact that those of staff that CAN fix it are unavailable. As someone who is only learning of this now because of the news post, it seems perfectly clear to me? They are warning you that if you exploit a known current issue, you will be punished. If that isn't clear enough, I'm sure the ban will be. - TJ

Just because you can murder someone doesn't mean you should.
Just because you can claim an exotic with the egg doesn't mean you should.
It's saying that we have the ability to do things, but we would be punished if we do those things. easy as that.

For those who need clarification, the staff members who have the ability to switch which egg can be used and make it so that nothing can be claimed at the moment are dealing with storms in their areas. It's not so much of a glitch as it is an unfortunate situation, but if anyone is afraid of accidentally claiming a Teo, just make sure you don't have the old egg in your inventory when you go to take a peek.

Those people telling me to chill and relax need to seriously get over themselves.
There is nothing in anything I have said that would make anyone think I am over here raging. I don't even HAVE any MayDay eggs, so this doesn't affect me at all. "It was just poor wording IMO, and I pointed it out.
And "however we have run into a little snag" does NOT negate what those storms could be. That little snag could STILL be those things I postulated.
This issue has been clarified. Anyone that @s me will be ignored and deleted from my notices.
And YES! I also hope that everyone affected by the storms stays safe and warm. I just chased a dog that came came to me from Canada for 20 minutes for the 3rd time today because she refuses to come in to the house. My state passed a law that says she can't be outside for more than a half hour though, so IN THE HOUSE!!!! lol

I think you need to chill. They obviously didn't MEAN to make it unclear. It reads as perfectly clear to me and others. They couldn't possibly know that some users would have 0 idea what it means. It's not like they wrote it in a cryptic dead language that we had to decipher on stone tablets. Chill.
