Trick or Treating is now live! Before we start, a reminder on how it works.
Sending Requests
Visit the new Trick or Treating page to start. Listed there are currently online Aywans interested in accepting Trick or Treat requests. Just click on the "Trick or Treat" button below their name to send the request. You can send requests to an Aywan every 30 minutes. This page will update itself when an Aywan's online status changes.
Processing Requests
In the side menu of the site, there's a Trick or Treat status box. As you receive requests, your visitor count will change. You can click this number (or go to My Visitors) to view your requests. From there you'll have the option to trick or treat your visitor.
• Treating visitors will cost 1,000 BP each.
• Tricking visitors is free!
You have 15 minutes to respond to a Trick or Treat request before it expires.
NPC Trick or Treating
If trick or treating your fellow Aywans isn't for you, don't forget that you can always ToT the NPCs instead! Swing by the Site Characters page and trick or treat them when they are available.
About Karma
Located on the trick or treat status box is a karma meter. As you send trick or treat requests or trick visitors, you will incur negative (orange) karma. Vise-versa, treating users will give you positive (blue) karma. Both karma levels have their benefits and risks, so experiment around.

Same as other users i'm treating all but still orange, the only time it's changed is when i knock (more orange) or greta (flips)

i’ve treated all my visitors (about 20 so far) and have TOT’d everyone available a few times and my karma is blue. not sure what’s happening to others!

This is SO MUCH EASIER than it was last year, thanks! I rather like not having to open different tabs to trick or treat someone, as I've typically got a dozen or two open already. THANKS!!!

Thank you for all the hard work that's clearly gone into every part of this ;v ;
On the karma meter, I had mine over half filled with good karma after waiting to trick or treat anyone for a while, and when I went and did so on about a third of the users online, my Karma dropped all the way to being about a fifth orange. Is it always that drastic of a drop? Does staggering our trick or treating help combat that somehow? I can't quite wrap my head around how karma is calculated ;;

I'm not sure if I'm missing something. I knocked on most of one page of doors, then I've only been treating since then and I don't seem to see a difference in my karma bar. It dropped pretty far down from the knocking, but either it hasn't moved back up from treating or it's so small I've not been able to notice. I've treated as many if not more than I knocked I believe.
