Yes, you read that correctly. NaNoWriMo 2015 has gone through quite a few staff members' hands. Each time, the staff member in charge would mysteriously vanish. We began to think NaNoWriMo 2015 was cursed. So, I recently volunteered as tribute, put some salt down, covered my room in red duct tape, gathered up some talismans, and wrote down my progress in case I was spirited away*. It worked! So, here we are today... It's finally over.
The prizes have arrived!
The 1,000 Word Tier: A Recolor Potion
Stories are often revised, especially if they are older and continuously worked on. Here's an item to help you revise a pet's colors or markings!
The 5,000 Word Tier: Ink Potion x3
Splash your pet with this dark potion to turn them into one of the exclusive NaNo 2015 Pets!
The 10,000 Word Tier: The Inked HA Set
A beautiful HA set, which contains the following items, plus an HA border! You can see what they look like via the Preview Wardrobe option.
The 25,000 Word Tier: Dictionfairy Wand and Paper Throwing Star
These are equipment which will raise your pet's attack +15% and toughness +10%, and power +20 and speed +10 respectively.
The 50,000+ Word Tier: Ornate Quill, Bookworm, and Writer Teo
The Ornate Quill will grant you the special forum title of "Once Upon A Time..." The Bookworm is a cuddly little Fauna that is excited to curl up and read a good book with you!
Now, the Writer Teo - a site theme had been promised, but we hope that everyone finds this prize to be just as good! All writers who hit this tier will receive a copy of this Teo! Are you itching to give it more of a personal touch? You are allowed to recolor it, following the usual Recolor Potion rules. (:
All prizes have been handed out at this point! If you have any questions or would like your stories removed, please contact me, Kousei (#25044). We apologize that this took so long, but we hope that everyone is as relieved as we are that NaNoWriMo 2015 has finally concluded. It was fun reading everyone's stories, and even though NaNoWriMo won't be returning to Aywas, I hope that all of you are still doing what you love!

Yeah, it might have been better to quietly give the winners their prizes privately then make a public post. You are causing many conflicting emotions with this, by showing off items and pets that haven't been available in 3+ years.
You may have put your own foot in your mouth if enough people start clamoring for the event to be resurrected, forcing your hand in doing an event you do not want.
I myself, LOVE that Vion, and am sad that I never had and never will have a chance to obtain it. Also, how many of the said winners have gone inactive over the years? That could be arkward.

Aurelian (#71991) actually, you can! you can get the vion via a glittering rock, glittering skull, glittering slab, or any method that allows you to get a random or specific AD pet.

Aurelian (#71991) - It's important to us that people see that we do actually listen and care about what people have been telling us. We've been trying for nearly three years to get these NaNo stories read to make sure they meet the entry criteria, and for just as long people have been asking if we've done it yet.
At last we can finally proudly say that we've done it and for one I'm really proud of Kou for reading SO MUCH MATERIAL and working her butt off to find out where the prizes went and to get them uploaded because important parts of the prizes were never uploaded by the prior administration. Just as much the people who entered deserve their moment to bask in the completion of the event and their prizes. We're not going to do something quietly because it might annoy some people that the items weren't possible for them to get. Everyone isn't always going to get everything.
As for missing out on the pet - it will be obtainable via Glittering Rock/Skull/Slab, as well as lucky zaps by Ambriel's Alterations - and in the case of the Vion if you get your hands on a Random Vion Potion you could get lucky there too! With the Teo there are plenty of people who won it that are active and you might find two willing to breed them for you. The HA items will turn up in Bottomless Trunks, the fauna in Fauna Boxes, and all items can come from items such as Ghost Chocolates and Paw Balloons. You might not get them as "easily" as if you entered NaNo 2.5 years ago, but just like them you might have to work a little to get them - but it's not impossible.
