Happy January everyone! Staff hopes that your holidays were great and that you have been collecting icicles because the Seasonal Shop is well stocked and open! You can find the typical assortment of Holiday goodies, so I will just highlight a few of the specialties~

The Stained Glass Theme will unlock a gorgeous Stained Glass Reindeer Site theme on your account. While the Santa Lunaris Vista will unlock a festive Forum Vista featuring our favorite holiday Lunaris!
Also, you will find a new item in the Trash for Treasure shop, the Lost Sleighbell! This item will transform your active pet into one of the pets available in the Seasonal Shop!
Additionally, you will find a new potion has made its way to this year's festivities and can be found in the Seasonal Shop! The Niklas' Reindeer Potion will transform your active pet into one of Niklas' Reindeer colorations!
The Winter Warmer #25 has been updated to include 3 new Aymas-themed alt lines for the Ganchuan, Kernal, and Oakl!
The Seasonal Shop and Holiday Lane will remain open until Sunday January 14th at 11:59pm (or there around, it might close late just make sure your shopping is done by the listed date.)
Following our earlier announcement we have also changed the way the Grand Edit Potion works for predictions. The Grand Edit Potion no longer has a prediction cap either, however the site is also not paying out for predictions. Just as with the Transitional Fossil Egg and Alidae Egg this is retroactive. The only exception is if you have on site evidence that you commissioned an artist prior to this news post.
In regards to predictions we are also making the Grand Edit Potion work with both Mininog and Speed Dating Slip! (The Edit Potion also works with Mininog now incase you want 50% edits)

Alright, just gonna write this one last time because I feel like my intentions might have gotten lost in that little argument (Sorry about that by the way).
The Feesh feel incredibly odd and pointless right now, as they replaced all the normal holiday lane items for seemingly no reason other than "Something's up with Not-Niklas" and their only use as far as gameplay goes is exchanging them for normal HL items. Trashing them is also an option, yes, but considering they seem to be a holiday item that could be important to an event, it's not the most comfortable decision to make.
The fact that they have seemingly no use also makes the random notifications about having feesh thrown at you seem incredibly annoying and mildly obtrusive. I'm not trying to say the Feesh are horrible and whatnot, I'm just saying that they feel like a fun thing that got no follow-through and I'm just left mildly confused about it.

Leo (#64689) I think the point of the feesh is that you can choose which HL items you want to trade them for... At least that's what I do: I trade them for pristine snow so I can make rarity 100 components in alchemy. (I haven't read the previous posts so pardon me if I'm just repeating what's already been said.)

I think saying stupid is too far, however I'm not a big fan and it does feel pointless. I preferred getting random items, the only reason that even made sense is if we were doing something like the golems from Halloween since people needed lower rarity things and weren't getting them. As it is now I feel like I'm getting less for same or more work. There's no telling how many of the r100 items each of my feesh have replaced but now have to pay 10 items for that same thing.
On top of that, I get not wanting to ruin any surprise, but the event is nearly over with myself and others I know worried about spending the feesh just for specific things to be needed SURPRISE after the area is closed and we can't get them. Even just word we will or will not have another use is going to make a lot of peopl feel better.

ChaosAzeroth (#43055) I agree that it feels like more work collecting 100 feesh than 10 pristine snow, but still that's what I've opted to do with them. And I don't think they'd have had an event where people were giving their feesh to one on staff, who ends up with tens of thousands, if they are going to have a value later. I do suspect the feesh has something to do with the strange Niklas and scribble images of four site characters, so we might get something for the storyline, but other than that I'm pretty confident you don't need to save up on feesh unless you want to.
Also, my point of view is that if I don't collect something and then lose out on a raffle chance or something like that, this is all just a game site with virtual items and missing out on something won't kill me. So... I guess I don't worry too much :)

It’s the concern of it having to do with story/event that concerns me the most. Hate to be locked out of a big site activity.
Granted it is just a site, but it’s also one of the few things I can actually do. X3
