A special note: The Aymas Tree Decorating contest will hopefully be opening within the next 48 hours, we're working on finishing up the quirks now! So make sure your trees are finalized tonight so you can be ready!
Some of you guys may remember an older game we used to have by the name of.... Risk! Well, I hope that our gamblers are ready because we are doing a special holiday risk! We have two games running for tomorrow January 1st.

In order to play you must post at the specified time for the game, the first 10 people who post will either win or lose. As the thread specifies if you are found to be hiding customs or currency to avoid getting a lose the punishment will be much more severe.
What is that... one of the prizes is a... Santa Lunaris Print - Physical Merchandise!?
That is correct! We have these amazing prints and I will personally mail one out to the winner, however there is a condition! The winners of these prints must be over 18 and able to give me a mailing address!
You want a print without risk? Well how about a Silent Auction!
Remember those Candy Canes and Snowflakes that you were holding onto? One of the use for them is going to be for a silent auction! We are auctioning 2 Santa Lunaris Prints for the top bidders. One for the top Snowflake Bidder, one for the top Candy Cane Bidder.

Only PM with your bid - you may reply to the PM to update your bid if you wish to. The newest PM will be considered your final bid
Please use this template when PMing:
Subject: Silent Auction CANES
Body: I bid x Candy Canes.
Subject: Silent Auction FLAKES
Body: I bid y Snowflakes.
(Replace x and y with the numerical amount)
If the highest bid fails to send the full amount of Candy Canes and Snowflakes within 48 hours of being contacted, the win defaults ot the next highest bid who will then also have 48 hours to respond. This will continue until one person pays the full amount bid within the 48 hour timeframe.
And again, you must be over 18 years of age and be able to provide a mailing address!
End Date is January 7th at 11:59pm AST
We have also had an update to the Blind Date and Delicious Eggnog Knowledge Base Article. It was brought to my attention that the prediction details were overly complicated so the rules have been simplified and we have also gone into more details with what genus' are permitted and when!

I was so excited for this year, finally having candy canes, and ... they're worthless. That's not a way to make up for this. I'm really upset with this decision. If you offered those as something you could obtain as a perk for spending money last year, you *must not* penalize people later. Because that is how I got those. I gave you guys actual money.
I guess it just goes to show...

u know those holiday gift packs were in the gp shop too, right
and they give you more than just candy canes and such
nobody forced you to spend usd on event currency that had no promise of being used the next year
also, read the actual post before you go whining

I'd be tempted to try the risk game (know I couldn't actually do it as I would miss the time period badly) except my luck I would get the 10th post and I have no breedings in queue and I have exactly one custom that was gifted to me... So no game for me (none of the other 'bad' things would really affect me accept the 24 hour ban, and is that a forum ban or site ban? I just realized that would mean Manju would be reset if I couldn't log in and click it for 24 hours)

oh, I remembered what I wanted to say: YAY! I thought I Had missed the Aymas tree contest. I was looking forward to it, and never saw a notice, so thought it had been canceled or activated and I just didn't see.

Yeeeeeah, the loses seem pretty extreme in comparison to the wins, imo. I might be up for a risk, but not without something nice that I'd actually gain without any work on my end. It looks like we'd have to make art or find artist(s) for all of the wins except the poster, and I'm personally not much into posters. Alas!

I feel like alot of the risk factors are great for newbies that don't have much but for those of us that have been saving up for amazing customs and spent lots on breedings and premium it's almost not really worth it. I personally have customs and breedings that I'm not willing to risk. But like I said, I'll let all my newbie friends know since they have nothing to lose.
