"Ahaha! Did your win from earlier get to your head, Aketchy?" Greta smirked, looking quite pleased with her Implings' victory. Behind her, Minerva's greenhouse stood in a disorderly fashion. Not only was it quite noticable that there were less plants inside than there once was, but the ground was littered with ones that must have been dropped as a Minion or Imp were fleeing Odhra.
Suddenly, whatever joy there was to be had seemed to vanish in an instant. In place of it, an eerie chill seemed to fill the air.
"What... is this..." Minerva had returned, fists clenched as her voice wavered slightly. Although she had assumed her greenhouse wouldn't have been entirely safe while she was gone, the sight before her was too much.
"Oh! We had an intense battle. Y'know, to see who won't be able to have candy," Greta responded nonchalantly. She failed to explain that it was in part because Minerva had intervened in the first place, and Aketch seems quite content to remain silent in the face of the enraged Griffin.
"Your little battles have gone on quite enough," Minerva hissed, causing Greta's everlasting grin to falter. "I had no intention of getting dragged into these little games, but if that is what it takes to get you two to behave, then so be it!!"

Minions have been inflicted with the Trickster Spell, doubling the amount of trick karma earned for 24 hours.

Defeat only emboldens us.
When ToTing other users, the amount of candy given when treated will also be added to the team's stash.

Yeah it does feel a bit unfair especially since I think our rally from last time was bugged. With all the plants I stole for Greta only one worked through our buff. Imps should at least also get some benefit while treating for winning? Speaking of I swear I saw us get a spell to help ToT yesterday but was drugged up from a doctors visit and it was gone after my nap...am I going crazy or was that a thing?

Eh, I'm not too bothered by the results. The point is that it's a trade off; you risk losing candy by ToTing, but you stand to gain massive points for Aketch.

Though I will agree that I don't see how it benefits us Imps that the other team gets less candy.

Aside from ToTing the NPCs, I don't really ToT that much cuz it takes too long, so I've seen barely any effect from the "debuff" spell, *shrug*

Yeah, it would be good to have less tasks next year.
Also, the people who didn't join and don't plan in participating don't have much to do during the event; if you give us more time to rest between tasks, some features could be opened during this time, or new pets released, so no one would be bored too early with the whole halloween event.

🦇 Okirin 🕸️ (#40141) We've had literally 3 tasks so far. One that lasted 48 hours, one that lasted 30 hours, and one that lasted 24. Literally anyone in any time zone should have been able to participate in all of them. And there has been 24 hours between each one (which has given me time to sleep and live ;) ) so I disagree. I like that there's tasks to do. If people don't want to participate that is their choice. They still get the items that were released during the golem event. They still can collect plants. They still can collect candy and pumpkins. There is A LOT that can be done for the Halloween event. I can't see why it wouldn't have enough to do.

lol people moaning about not getting something for winning, torpedoing the karma is your reward.
You can have the 35 melo pumpkins I 'won' for adventuring for hours and hours, I picked up more doing the task from the reward.

Saphire <3 L [TREAT] (#407) I get your point, and I agree it's great that everyone can participate no matter which timezone they are in.
I was merely suggesting something less complicated or big for the staff, since there have been remarks on the bugs during the events. Less tasks in total = more time to prepare, no stress over it.
Concerning those who don't play this battle game, how many actually think about visiting Mineva's garden? XD More seriously, there is less people doing ToT, and I just wonder if some don't get tired doing the same thing over again. But like I said, it's just suggestions and the staff will do what it will want to do (and I respect the hard work put in there)! :D

🦇 Okirin 🕸️ (#40141) Oh, that's fair! To me it read like you thought there were too many tasks going on. And I've found them pretty easily manageable. But if it's for the staffs sake, I'm all for it :3 I just have enjoyed the events so far. It's kept me in the Halloween mood <3 But then again, now that they've done most of this stuff, maybe there won't be as many bugs for next year if they do something similar? Either way, I just know I've been enjoying it.

i have to agree, i appreciate the ambition this year but there's just too much to try and keep track of.
