Candypocalypse Botting Warning

Comics

I am going to make this clear to everyone.

If I catch you botting during this event, may it be a macro, Snaplinks, or whatever, I will ban you from this event and strip all points you accumulated for your team. If you cannot bother to participate with the rest of us, you may as well just not.

No more warnings.

Didn't even know Ctrl+click did the same thing clicking my scroll wheel does. Scroll wheel clicking is how I'm able to get things done faster - Edward

Ah yea, I am with the rest of these people who didn't know LinkClump was bad since it does the same thing as ctrl + click.

Sorry! I will know now though. :s

Eltshan [ToT!] (#28932) I've been using my scroll wheel to "open in new tab" as well. Just had to skim comments and make sure it was allowed X3

I'm glad the middle click/ control click method is okay, because my internet is soooooo slow.

But seriously, botters can go light their computers on fire. Play the damn game like the rest of us.

I'm not even part of this event, I forgot to pick a team before signups ended, but: is snaplinks considered botting for other parts of the site? I use it to open my nests in tabs because I have *so many* and it helps save my wrists. I still hit the use button manually, it just stops me having to click-move mouse slightly-repeat until done, which is what makes my wrist hate me.

If it is considered botting, why? Absolutely makes sense to have it banned in competition type things, but for daily maintenance tasks I can't see how it's bad.

Is control and click also forbidden? Just want to check, please and thank you.

Okay I saw that caveSalamander's reply, but I also noticed that in some cases I'm as fast as I would use Linkclump. Would there be a problem?
