There is a loud growl... like the sound of a stomach...
"That foolish little imp! How dare she give away my candy!"
Oh no! It would seem that the Unus of Famine has awoken due to hearing all of the candy wrappers!
"We had a deal!" they shout into the sky, their voice raspy and dry, "You were to collect their candy last year and give it to me, not hand it all out this year! There will be revenge..." they hiss darkly before turning back into their Unus shape and trotting off in search of the devious imp who betrayed them.

Xigzagoon (#13145) You are correct that we accidentally used the wrong pronoun, I went ahead and fixed that. In the future however, may I suggest just tossing a friendly note our way, instead of immediately reacting in such an accusatory tone? Kaiyo was half asleep when she wrote this (I can only assume that's how the mistake slipped in), but decided against postponing the newspost so we could all enjoy the event asap.
Please remember to be kind to each other, and keep in mind that we all make mistakes from time to time ;)

Marjo (#5741) (can you even ping in news commenra?) Who would the note be directed to? I know they're just fictional characters but the "difficulty" of remembering "they/them" pronouns for people is... a sensitive subject for me.

Whoops, "comments". I guess you can! Also maybe I'm just not good at conveying tone but I thought my response was quite civil, keeping "in character" with the event so to speak, rather than just getting angry at a character that uses they/them pronouns being misgendered yet again

...Aketch uses "they" in their bio, that they are here to steal all our candy is no reason to use the wrong pronoun for them
