The Campgrounds are now Open! we have revamped the tent feature found in the game to make it its own little mini game with a bit more excitement! We currently have 3 types of tents available: the original Tent, the Gold Tent, and the Platinum Tent. The original Tent works simply, you set it up and come back after some time and see if you got a pet! The tent does have a chance to break or having the pet escape!
The Gold Tent will never break and is this month's premium item. It can also be obtained through Premium Grab Bags.
The Platinum Tent is a new microtransaction that we have been asked for. It's available in the USD shop for $3.00 USD, and is the only tent that can be used in retired locations! So if you missed adventuring in one of the holiday zones or slashbot zones this will let you try to catch those pets! The first use has a 100% chance it will not break, after that it has a low chance to break.
Note: If you have a tent in the old system, then you will not see the changes! We don't want anyone to lose their pets.
To go along with the Campgrounds you can now cook Bait via gourmet cooking! These baits come in 3 different tiers, with increasing chances of finding higher rarity pets.
If you are looking for something a bit shinier to help you out, you can take those freshly cooked baits and head on over to Alchemy to combine them with Tranquilizers and some other Alchemy Components in order to make Bait with Tranq's! These special baits will knock the pet out inside the tent so they will remain inside for a longer period of time.

I'm also having trouble with the tents. I have no bait, but I have one regular and my gold tent in there. I've checked quite often for the past day and I've seen no critters in there

I've just checked my tents and caught a pet with one (regular tent, no bait). I don't know how much time that took or how many pets have fled between my checks on it. At least I can confirm tents are working.

I want to know what's going on with the ghost orca lure. It's an AD item not sold in any store and there are exactly five of them in user shops. But it is required to make the t-3 bait.

I'm having tent problems too. My regular tent has caught one pet in around 24+ hours. My gold tent hasn't caught anything still in over 36 hours. Is the gold tent broken? :/

Came in to the comments to ask the same question as Zaria about the Ghost Orca Lures. I want to make the bait and the bait+tranq for my item collection but if we're stuck with what's already on site, no way am I going to be using them.

I've had 2 tents set up and only one caught a (common) pet while the other remains empty. The one that worked was set up in bamboo forest. What's up with it? Will the bait + tent work? Can we add a bait after we set up a tent?

Also, are baits one-time use? Does the tent sit there until we catch a pet and if yes - will there be a way to cancel it if we don't want to wait?

I liked the way how old tent worked, since a pet was guaranteed after 240 mins (mb bcz idc about rarity, I used to reroll those pets into smth else or toss to adoption if they were pretty), baits look like rather expensive recipes to me, so I'll stick to adventuring :'3
I love the idea of platinum tents and multiple amount, I hope a lot of people gonna purchase those and get pretty catches with them! :D There was so many news posts lately, I'm overwhelmed and overall hyped XD
