With that said, please do not rely on 24 hour warnings in the future, as they are not promised to happen. When the closing dates are announced, please make note of them and plan accordingly! Also, Kaiyo may be MIA for a bit, as a power pole has decided to go down.

I had made a suggestion post ...oh some time last year about doing a calendar for events / notifications... so it would have the standard holidays, show when shops open and close, when Mishkas shop restocks, when breeding season was, when raws changed ... but the thread was locked because it was deemed not needed .... I see the people being like but we didn't know... and I'm thinking why wasn't a calendar with events / times not needed? It would have been an easy access point for users to look at and see ok, this is when the shop closes ... this is when the event starts, this is when x happens so they would prepared for it. It could easily go in on the community drop down menu / welcome back page.
