It didn't take much for Ambriel to know that sending in aerial support was changing nothing - the Unus' hunger was unending and once more the Lane was a graveyard of crumbs... until Aketch hoovered them up too.
I can't send more sentient beings to their demise - even if it's what they were made for.
The sentence ran through his mind over and over as he poured over ancient tomes and scoured every scrap of paper he could for inspiration. He needed something that could fight, and he needed something that wouldn't be aware of the horror of being eaten.
"That's it!"
Ambriel held a piece of paper - a recipe - aloft in his hand. "Life isn't important, it's everything that we do with it that is! The Spice of Life is the perfect solution! I must find the king!"
You can now create the Battle Sleipdeers, you will find the Spice of Life in the Trash for Treasure.
I know I said the Seasonal Shop would close last night, I'm sorry I ended up falling asleep early so it will be closed tonight!
The gingerbread story, Bingo, and Holiday Lane will all last until January 19th at 11:59pm AST. The Aymas tree will most likely close around then too so please make sure that you take your items out of the Tree Box!

Jemadar *Treats* (#73611), I don't think the items were pricey to begin with; when events involving site items happen, the prices of such items always skyrocket, regardless of how cheap the item may've started off...Heck, Pile of Crap could have been needed and the price would have shot thru the roof!

To be honest, most of what I have is from OBSESSIVELY stalking the shop. 99% of the time without doing that I have not seen those items even before this event. There have been rare bouts of seeing them without doing so, but I can safely say 97% of what I have is from the obsessive stalking of the shop and the Brown Sugar/Maple Syrup have always been kinda rare. ((The 'holy trinity' of the shop I believe has been Brown Sugar/Maple Syrup/Baking Soda. x3))

That could be. I wasn't into cooking before, and I dont' tend to stalk the stores to get the stuff, so they might have.
I was just thinking that if it were a more common item or one that was gotten through site stuff such as adventure, then while the prices might have shot up, they could still have been reasonable for people who are newer or hadn't gotten into cooking.

ChaosAzeroth[BETTER] (#43055), Thanks for that update. I just figured they were much cheaper to begin with (at least in the shop, which would not have changed), if not necessarily more common... In any event, I somehow have several of each and never from purchasing them from the Shop; maybe from cooking and/or getting food from Zave?

I don't know if it has been asked- but will the Gingerbread Tea https://www.aywas.com/item_database/details/20264/ item be released? It might come at the end of the Gingerbread event though... And there are some new Aymas-y pets in the Aywapedia that don't have a way to obtain them such as the Peppermint Phasma https://www.aywas.com/aywapedia/species/8349/, Cocoa Tavashi https://www.aywas.com/aywapedia/species/8340/ , Saffron Koafhttps://www.aywas.com/aywapedia/species/8337/, etc

They've been kinda cheaper than now probably but defo been kinda rare. That is possible, I forgot about getting them from that. x3 Yeah they're cheap-ish if you can catch them but catching them has been a pain.

I believe they said that the pets in the Aywapedia that don't have a way to obtain them will most likely be in the gingerbread shop, That is most likely where the gingerbread tea will be as well

Justarius (#48993), Idk about those in particular, but many items and pets that are new but not showing up anywhere/showing how to be obtained are to be released in the Gingerbread Shop, which - according to a previous News post - is to be opening "soon".

;-; i think it kind of sucks how you guys make all the ingredients have "uncommon" or "very rare" rarities, or at least most. it means that 90% of users won't be able to make these recipes, because people stalk/snipe the tasty ay foods store and resell them at 500k BP each, and i can't afford that for one battle sleipneer, but i'd still like to be able to participate in the event. the same thing happened with the brown sugar and the koaf egg carton, but at least it was only one ingredient per recipe. now it's 2 ingredients for this one.
