Aymas is quickly approaching, and everyone is scrambling to wrap those final gifts and cook the gingerbread to defeat Aketch but that is not all we have prepared for you! I am sure that many of you have been wondering what all those beautiful ornaments are for?
We thought it would be fun this year if you could Decorate your own tree! This fun feature can actually use any site item as long as they are not privately owned! Just go to your inventory, choose the item you want to use and click "Place in Aymas Decoration Trunk"! Do not worry, any item that you place into the trunk is removable, so you don't have to worry about losing any super shiny items you may want to decorate your tree with.
Of course to decorate your tree you have to actually have a tree, now don't you? Never fear! That is where our newest friendly Site Character comes in at!
Madam Cactus has opened up a lovely new store that has plenty of beautiful trees as well as all of our new ornaments!
Decorating your tree can be a little complicated so a few tips:
-The icon in the left is your trunk, click it to reveal a collapsible menu with all the items you add
- After placing an item on the canvas you click it to "activate" it, from this you can position the item anywhere on the canvas and you also have several more icons available.
Allows you to mirror the item and flip it horizontally
Takes you out of the item edit screen so you can select another item
Allows you to adjust whether you want to use the small or large size
Will put the item back in your Decoration Trunk- Save Tree will save whatever progress you have done so your tree will look the same next time you return
- Clear tree removes everything from the canvas
- We will be hosting a Tree Decorating Contest later on!
Please remember the Site ToS. These trees cannot be labeled as you would a forum so all trees must remain PG13, any found to be breaking this rule will have their trees cleared and an official warning issues.
We also have a fun holiday game for you, otherwise known as Bingo! This task sheet has 24 different objectives for you to accomplish. When you finish a column, row, or either diagonal you can claim your prize! The prizes are one of the random holiday items (stockings, presents, etc), and many of these tasks can be completed simply by playing on the site. There is a few specialty tasks that I will go a little more in depth with!
- Master the Holiday Zone: The quests for Holiday Lane has been reset (this is what we had meant when we originally opened it and levels were changed). You must complete all Holiday Lane quests for this Achievement.
- Enter your Aymas Tree into the Tree Contest: This one is not achievable yet, as we are not opening the contest yet.
- Participate in Saving Aymas: Chapters 1-3, this is the Battle of the Gingerbreads and is accomplished by turning in one of the new gingerbreads that gets released with each chapter. So for credit for Chapter 1 you need to submit a Foot Soldier or Koaf Mount, the others will be announced as we progress through the story.
- Collect an Item from Advent: While the holiday Advent is scheduled to end on the 25th, we will still be giving out presents afterwords so do not worry!
- Adopt a New Pet: This means from the Adoption Center
- Buy something from the Seasonal Shop: This one is also not achievable yet, once the shop opens it will be.
Once you have completed your board you will be able to collect the "Blackout Prize" at the bottom, which will be a gift pile of a few of the holiday items!
These events will run into January, as we know this is a pretty big time for everyone to be spending time with their family and traveling. We will give notice before the events are going to end, to try to ensure everyone is able to participate! We hope that you enjoy everything and from the Aywas family to yours, we wish you a Very Merry Aymas!
Updates: The candy cane glitch has been resolved. You will have to collect 100 candy canes in adventure, unfortunately this is not retroactive.
Book of Completion now works with the achievement, however you will still be locked out for a week as per the books rules.
The museum collection is working as intended, however please make sure that you are completing the collection.
You may open your wrapped gift, however the lottery tickets will not work until tomorrow.
The Aymas Tree should work properly in Chrome now.
I am currently at my offline job but trying to work with Yasu as glitch reports come in. Please ping @489 if you are experiencing a glitch. (I apologize for any typos, editing this from my phone!)
Update 10:50pm AST: The Candy Canes are still causing us difficulties apparently, we apologize for this inconvenience. Yasu is going to change the way the coding works so it registers how many is in your inventory, regardless of the source. However as it is Christmas Eve he may not get to it today, please rest assured it will be done shortly and all you will have to do is go to the Bingo page to update the board. We will let you know once it is completed, Merry Aymas!

🎁❄Kaiyo❄⛄ (#489) is the cancy cane bingo card slot... collect 100 candy canes from this point on? and if so, DO those candy canes have to come FROM holiday lane directly, or can i get them in other means; ie, can i send my 170 candy canes to a friend and have them send them back, can i buy more, can i open packs for them, i just. thats so much clicking

- I own 103 candy canes but the bingo card doesnt trigger. Does this mean only CCs collected from today onwards will count? If so, is there a way for us to see how many we still need, cause I cant remember how many I had before today.
-I am not sure if all is alright with the holiday land quests. I almost only got "find this many pets" quests. Right now I am at level 10 and have to find yet another 45 pets. On this level 10 quest i did bust 7 pet flutes, 2 monster flutes, one book of rare monsters , two hours of my life and god know many energy items and I am still lacking 7 pets. I had a quest for 50 different pets earlier and finished that in fifteen minutes or so. So i was just wondering if I just suddenly am extreeeeemely unlucky, or if something is off there.

I collected 107 candy canes adventuring the last 4 hours. The card is not triggering the 100 candy canes one ;;

How the heck do you open a wrapped gift from Rudi's Workshop? I tried opening the item I got from completing the holiday museum collection, and that wasn't it. I tried wrapping a gift for myself in Rudi's workshop... but where he poop did it go? It's not under my tree, or inventory, or in the workshop... bleh x__X

Saphire <3 Lassombra (#407) I found the one I sent... the notification just says you got a "wrapped gift" but the item in your inventory shows up as the name of the wrapping paper type. So... I feel bad for people with large inventories who don't even know what they are trying to find. Can this please be fixed, *Yasu [🎁] (#3410) ? Like have the notification tell you WHICH wrapped gift you received, so you know what you are looking for?

I went and counted up the amount of unique pets and monsters we can currently encounter - it's 42. I can't complete my current quest because it's off by three...
Also, I'm having the problem with the Spirit Figure being completely non-interactable once I put it in the decoration area. Can't move it, can't resize it, and can't remove it, it's just. There. Forever.
