Hey folks, it has been brought to my attention that we unfortunately had a pretty big "oops" in the Unus News post regarding the rewards, so I am coming forward to personally apologize on behalf of Hiiro and I. We both have been going through quite a bit offline and then spending any available time trying to perfect the event it seems some of our original draft had made it to the final product in the worst place. So to clarify, the prizes for the teams are:
Top 10 Players of the Winning Team
Will receive a copy of the Event SCC maker, a Metal Design Ticket, and a Dark Crown of Eveglori breeding addon! In addition, they will receive a trophy of their winning Unus captain!
All Members of the Winning Team
Will receive a copy of the Event SCC maker! In addition, they will receive a trophy of their winning Unus captain!
Top 10 of Each Team
Will receive a copy of the Event SCC maker, a Metal Design Ticket, and a trophy featuring all of our lovely Unus of the Apocalypse!
All Participants
Because the event is optional, all who choose to participate will receive a Haunted House trophy!
We hope that this is a little clearer. To try to make up for this mix up we are allowing everyone One chance to swap teams. For the next 24 hours (give or take a few, we might run late), you can visit The Team page to swap your team. Your points will carry with you to your new team, and you will not suffer any penalty. Choose wisely.
We also have been asked several times when it is ending, the closing date for the Unus Event is October 28th @ 11:59pm

Okay but isn't this going to make the teams horribly unbalanced? I mean, we didn't know how each team was doing before we joined each one, and now a lot of people are going to be able to simply switch to the team that seems to be doing the best and that seems like it's probably going to win, inflating said team's numbers and basically guaranteeing them to win and screwing the other teams. The prize conditions and such weren't entirely clear, but I don't think it calls for letting players switch teams. It's just unfair.

I ended up joining Famine from Conquest because looking at their scores... Man, I just felt bad. It's a long shot, but maybe seeing someone with a high-ish score will motivate them to try and up their own.
Or maybe they'll get pissed because they think I joined for an easy top 10 spot. Hey, whatever motivates them to come and kick my butt, right? XD

I was wondering about the points. Is it going to be averaged per player to decide the winning team, or is it about points total. Cause as you said in the last comment, if one team has much more people, then even if they only gather a couple hundred points each they will have a much higher amount of points. It wouldn't really be fair for the team's hard work if only total amount of points are counting in case the amount of participants differ a lot...

Haunted House adventure area seems to be REALLY buggy. I freeze up almost every 4 steps, I get redirects to the home page in almost every battle. Just wanted to throw that out there.

so pretty much no matter what now, either conquest or war will win. since anyone who was on a team already can see the top 10 numbers of each team, and even if you put a handicap on they still have almost 100,000 more points on death and famine, unless we roll back all numbers AND have ANOTHER uni selection, which ever team has the most people, which will be war or conquest probably again, no one else has a chance. I really do not think you should have allowed a re-select without resetting the scores, or make each other team un-viewable to members not in them. I just dont see how this can work now. Unless maybe we take death and famine and join them to war and conquest, so conquest and famine against war and death, OR give everyone playing a scc and then the winners scc's + the prizes.......... Just my 2 cents, being in famine, and pretty sure Im one of the lowest scores at rank 54 (since I work all day to boot) I doubt famine has more than 100 people in it now.....

Can the team switch please be cancelled when the Unus game draws to a close? Because I'm on the team with some of the lowest high scores, and I can just see the high level teams balling last second and sniping the top 10 spots totally unfairly....

Honestly we have been monitoring it and quite a few people have left the "lead" team at the moment, and depending on how skewed the numbers are at the end we will probably be adding a handicap to balance out. Cause if one team has 500 people and another only has 40, that isn't gonna work at all.
