New Game
It looks like those Unus completely destroyed this place! There's not much left behind... I wonder what got into them? Cleaning this up is going to be a nightmare!!
Hey, what's that?
Oh no, the glowing war drum can only mean one thing... the Apocalypse Unus are on the loose! Seems Trick or Treating has awoken the Unus' competitive spirit once again, and now they seek players to join their cause! Except this time, they are not content to just take candy.
This season of Halloween brings a new team event to Aywas! By visiting the Unus Event Page, users will be able to pick their team and fight for the glory of their Apocalypse Unus captain! You can read more about the Apocalypse Unus on the Site Character page if you'd like to make a fully-informed decision about whom you are pledging your loyalty for. But choose wisely, once you have picked your team, there are no ways to change teams!
Once you have joined a team, you will be able to earn points for your team!
"Victory at all costs!"
Earning points can be done in various ways though the most common way will be battling in Adventure. Fret not if your pet is not the strongest in Ay! Win or lose, you will earn points for your team! In addition, the cooks of Ay will also be called in, as someone has to keep these armies fed (even if you're Team Famine)!
Point System:
- 10 Points for winning a battle in Haunted House
- 5 Points for every 15 steps in Maze
- 4 Points for losing a battle in Haunted House
- 5 Points for 10 cooking levels
"Keep an eye on the prize..."
So what is it we're all competing for? At the end of the event, we will have a Unus Event SCC. The final design of the SCC will be influenced by the winning team's Unus Leader! In addition there are trophies and other items to be won!
Winning Team
Will receive a copy of the Event SCC maker, a Metal Design Ticket, and a Dark Crown of Eveglori breeding addon! In addition, they will receive a trophy of their winning Unus captain!
Top 10 of Each Team
Will receive a copy of the Event SCC maker, a Metal Design Ticket, and a trophy featuring our lovely Unus of the Apocalypse!
All Participants
Because the event is optional, all who choose to participate will receive a Haunted House trophy!
These prizes do stack! So if you end up in the top 10 on the winning team, you will have 2 Event SCC makers and 2 MDTs to get them colored! Plus all the trophies!
"It's not the destination, it's thrill of the battle along the way!"
I know, this has been a very long post... but stay with me just a bit longer! There are a few parting notes that we on staff would like to point out about the Unus Event!
- This event is purely optional. You do not have to join a team to get the full benefit of the Haunted House region or the seasonal shop.
- The statistics of the Unus Team page are purposely vague. We didn't want all players to feel pressured to choose one team over another based on team sizes or current placements. At the end of each week, staff will make a small news post stating the current rankings of the teams for those curious, but a current tally will not be made public.
- Be sure to check out the News Post below for information about the opening of the Haunted House region!
And with that being said...
GO OUT AND FIGHT, IN THE NAME OF YOUR CAPTAIN!
"And give me all your candy!"

I was already in a maze when the news post hit. I finished that one (had more than 15 steps added before I got to the finish) and just started a new maze (currently over 15 steps as well), but haven't finished yet. I take it the points are awarded on completion, and not as you go?

Tyger (#54028) ten levels a pet. So if you decide to use a bunch of pets, you will need to raise them each ten levels.

Sesh (#21919) I believe that is how it is coded since the system uses a similar method for the Maze score. But I will confirm with coder to be sure.

Okie-dokey! Was intending to do that anyway, but it means I won't flail over where are my points until I've done ten rounds. :3

5 Points for every 15 steps in Maze.
I've done way more than 15 steps and they are not being counted. Is it all counted up at the end of each maze?

rustle my jimmies (#4138) wolfsgazeinthenite (#32012) Just to be sure, they were mazes that were started after the news post went and you didn't get points? Trying to figure out why the points worked in testing, but is acting up now.

Sesh (#21919) did you finish the maze? It was counting for us, so I'm not sure why it isn't for you. If it keeps acting up, I'll have our coder look into it :)
