Site Update
A few quick Trick or Treat updates! By now some of you may have noticed that there is a Recent ToTs Page! Wanna get revenge on the people throwing poop at you? Well, now when they knock you'll have records of their poop-slinging activities!
There is also a little side bar on the left near your knocks that lists how much candy you have! Click that number to be taken to the Requests page and see what has been going on with your door! This nifty little Candy Counter will also wiggle when you get a new candy!
Why these changes? Because we have disabled the notifications! You're not the only ones who were annoyed by being buried under poop and candy! (Hopefully not mixed together!) If you really liked those notifications, though, you can find a button on the ToT page to re-enable them!
You may also notice the other button over there that says "Disable ToT." You can turn Trick or Treating off, however please be cautious about turning it off and then still knocking. It isn't very friendly to do that and some NPCs may take notice of this action!
You may also notice a few more NPCs running around! They thought the others were having so much fun that they wanted to join in on the festivities too!
Several of you have already figured out that "karma" has a pretty big influence on which NPCs you come across and how much candy they give/take. We have adjusted Karma values a little, and you now lose less karma from tricking, as we want everyone to enjoy this event and not feel they are forced to treat every single time!
One final note is that Aketch is getting a little bit full on all the candy he has stolen, so he might be making a few less appearances.
And on a personal note, I wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes in this time. It has been trying, to say the least, and I will not go into details about it in a news post, since I don't believe everyone wants to be bogged down with those, but I truly appreciate all the kind words said, thankyou <3
And now a dual-post note from Chibi (#124)!
The Birthday Lunaris is here! For the month of October we have the Raven Lunaris!
Don't forget to check out the birthday link to claim your gift from Aywas on your big day! Need to change your birthday? As our current Birthday Change thread is down for renovations (pardon our dust!), please go ahead and PM me(#124) should you need the birthday attached to your account changed.
If your birthday already came this month and you collected the previous Bear Lunaris but would like the Raven coloration instead, please contact Kyu (#1010) and she will do a switcharoo for you!
Please make sure you check out all the news posts below!

Miksa is a cute pokemon; walks up, says "Miksa" and does nothing else. (should they be doing something?)

verd - gettin BP (#7493) AFK - RL Bad stuff (#489) Just a suggestion, but as I mentioned earlier - treating DOES eat up BP at an alarming rate (I'm guessing the site is using it as a BP sink). I've seen multiple people with statuses like "NoBP/Tricking" "OutofBP" "Adventuring" "BRB GettingBP" and so on. I'd love to see a way for people with no little to no BP to still give treats, especially since it can be quite discouraging to give away millions of BP in treats, then to end up with Aketch eating a bulk of their candy. If tricking = bad karma = more Aketch visits, players with no BP are stuck no matter what, and that makes it a very frustrating event for them.
Another thought - for new players especially who haven't unlocked all the explore areas - making enough BP to keep up with treating would be really hard at the rate a user can get BP from, say, the bridge. Any advice for them to still get good karma?

We will not be adjusting the prices, as we will be opening up the Halloween adventure zone shortly. They will balance eachother out, there is just a lil ways to wait till then.

I only did treats and nothing but treats but come across Aketch like everyone else and got candies stolen many times lol.... Did something go wrong or is it just my account being very cursed ? LOL.... Ermmm Chibi 🎃 (#124)

PS This is a good bp sink if it's really intended so. I've enjoyed giving out treats all the time and help people accumulate candies. <3

This trick or treating is fun but when is breeding season going to start? I'm more of a breeder than a gamer.

I'm not sure how the point system was adjusted as I have just had 4 lots of candy removals - two of them 30 pieces each and I have been treating :(
