I think this looks way better, but like some have mentioned the overall length of the legs seem too short. It makes me think of a dachsund trying to support a great dane head and tail. Besides lots of insects have long creepy legs :)

It's impossible to please everyone, let's keep that in mind. If everyone liked the same thing just as much we wouldn't be unique. :3
Sorry to those who don't like it, I personally like this one more. The critter looks more defined and less cartoonish. I don't think it has fatrolls but instead or looks like it's made up of different sections, or has a tough hide/'armor' like insects do.
This new Insi looks more of a bug than the old one. In fact, I as a new user didn't recognize it to be a bug before. I do now.

I adore it!
If there's going to be a switch, I think you should let the old Insis keep the old design, but from that point on all new Insis would look like the new design. That way people who liked the old design can still keep and collect them (Maybe they'll become valuable!)
Everyone wins that way. :)

I don't like the new eye. I liked the one on the first version better. Not that it matters, and I still like this A LOT more than the old insi :)

I am SO impressed that the artists/mods actually listen to what the users say about the art.
That said, I think it's awesome.
