I bet you thought this was going to be a Welcome to June post, didn't you? Well, we have successfully convinced Slash that it is still May so we could hijack the large post of the day! The Welcome to June post will be coming within the next few days, so since we stole the post this is also your warning the Ramrin is retiring. Get those designs in ASAP or you'll have to use an Antiquity Stave! Now... onto business, remember how we mentioned that we were going to be hosting our first Adventure Based Event soon?
We would like to present....
The Bamboo Forest!
This beautiful forest was a product of several generous users and the magic of a Slashbot! This event has been a very long time in the making, however Senaru (#28224), Dren (#662), and Wolfie (#28389) came up with this Event in honor of a now retired Moderator, Panda (#465)!
We hope that Panda (#465) and the rest of the userbase enjoy this event, so lets get to the details!
We have stuffed the Bamboo Forest with quite a few pets, of a variety of rarities, all related to the Forest! Hidden among the foliage you will find several pieces of Bamboo laying around.
This Bamboo will be your Seasonal Shop currency! So collect as much as you can, as we have quite a few more pets, HA, some potions, and fauna for the Seasonal Shop!
During your adventures you will also come across several different collectables as well as a fauna, which I do recommend holding onto, as one of them will have a Very special use later on! And nope, I'm not going to tell you which one it is, you get to wait and see!
Note: At this moment there is only a few collectables to be found, more will be added shortly as the artist finishes them!
You will have a few days to collect Bamboo, on the 5th or 6th the rest of the event will be released, including the Seasonal Shop opening! It will remain open until the 9th when the event will be closed, however I will tell you we will have one very large surprise for you at the close of the event.
Please keep in mind that this is my first time doing an Adventure Based Event, so if you should find a glitch or an Error, please ping @3 to the comments!
Make sure you check out the voting in the post below, choose which Raw gets made permanent!

Ahh, all my pets are either way too high or way too low to fight pets to catch them. I hope my net won't break.
This area is BEAUTIFUL, I love the day/night cycle! All the items are super pretty, and the pets are adorable. I wish it was here longer than a week, it's my favorite zone at the moment, hahah.
Also, sorry for disrespecting all who put the effort into creating this last night by commenting something unrelated. I truly am grateful for you all for this event! <3

Aurelian (#71991) The pets in this forest are extremely low level, so there is a good chance that they were either doing no damage or very little damage. Since it is the first adventure event in a long while we wanted to make it accessible for everyone :D
Cruellinnet (#71957) I'm gonna ask that you post that in Hiiro's Adventure Glitches thread: https://www.aywas.com/forum/topic/2004494145/ as that is Adventure Based and I don't believe tied to the Bamboo Forest.
BeccaPanda (#33595) Is it still doing this?
As for the Seasonal Shop, we will try to make everything affordable, and if need be extend the event, as we have quite a few things to throw into the shop.

Slashbot (#3) Are the drop rates on Brightling lower than other items, accounting for rarity? After hours of adventuring, I only have 4 Brightlings (Super Rare) but over 20 each of Dark Bamboos (Ultra Rare) and Bamboo Candles (Hidden Rare).

Cinccino & Lilligant (#514) Nope, just bad luck. When I was testing the zone I had opposite of that, I have a whole swarm of brightlings in my inventory but found almost none of the other things

TheLittleBlackCat (#72439) there's no way to know how cheap or expensive thing will be. Some events the items are like 5, 10 ... others I've seem them in the thousands for a high priced item with 100 being the average.
This is a new event, the first time it's been run, so we won't know until the shop opens up.
