In addition, we have something new to introduce for MayDay - a prize for the top three people who purchase during the sale, to show our appreciation. Each winner will receive a key to the Future Custom feature, which allows you to upload a 50% edited custom pet for every genus released in the future.

You don't just get a teo, though. The teo is a *bonus item* that you get on top of the things you actually purchase.
On top of that you get all the USD items you spend for with up to 20% USD discount, AND all the bonus items you can redeem which doesn't just come with a teo, but also an eggnot, a PMBC and a fox crystal.
If you purchase GP, you can then go to the GP shop, and use those again with a discount...
People that already know they want to buy something in the USD shop, really can save a lot in this event AND get a lot of bonus items on top of that.
