Doesn't really make any difference, really, the only pieces I'd want is the background, and all the backgrounds of the leading colorations aren't colorful at all =/ I really wish they could accept all the colorations since people like me who enjoy colorful, bright things are always outnumbered on these votes. The first background is SO fun and pretty, and the the peacock dress has such beautiful detailing and color, yet they are at the bottom of the votes because they aren't dark.
I will never understood the appeal of gold and black, it is so overdone yet everyone loves every single gold and black design that comes out. To each their own I guess, I just don't understand why =/

If you write a polite message to Eve, she can probably tell you why your entry didn't make it. In case of a accidental rule break, it's actually really nice to know, to avoid making the same mistake again.
(I've tried similar things with some of my colouring entries, to the point where I occasionally will send entries past Eve for a rule check before I submit them. XD )

Gwennafran (#22320) - Thank you for telling me to do so! She ended up giving me the real reason as to why it wasn't accepted! Unfortunately, it would also mean another (1 or 2) shouldn't have made it either, but things slipped and its all okay! She wanted to put it in but it DID break a rule so she couldn't, so its all good!

At least you know the reason now, and can avoid doing it again.
As mentioned, I've taken to actually check my entries with Eve, if there's anything on them that might cause problems. 'cause like said, I've been there as well. It's kinda bound to happen eventually, if you make things that adds a lot of stuff.

While I'm kinda sad to see the top three are all dark, I can't complain too much since I myself voted for the lightning one. xD Tough choice though, all the entries this month are gorgeous!
