So, who thought the Fetail was a funny joke for April Fool's? We noticed that you seem to really like the Fetail, so we decided to go the way of your suggestions and keep both the joke hybrid and produce a real hybrid.
When you breed a Teo x Faux with a breeding coin, you will receive a Fetail! You can also ask for a Fetail using the Hybrid Genetics Kit with any Breeding Coin breeding.
When you breed a Teo x Faux with a special rare breeding item (like the Emaias and Alidaes have their own item), you will receive the real rare hybrid!
That way, everyone is happy :)
But first, we'll have a contest! Do you have a cool idea for the actual rare hybrid for the Teo and Faux? Come join our contest! Entries may be posted until April 23, 2016 at 11:59 PM.

Astra (#16365) there's always a chance of getting one as a metal through a RBC breeding... or you could join breeding raffles (like the one I'm holding right now) to try and get one.
There's also the option to derp breed one with two existing pets.
Where they are a "normal" hybrid I can see site colourations in the future for monthly or event pets.

Woohoo for compromise! Hopefully it won't be super expensive to get the add on like the Emaia is? $50 for a legit hybrid would stink :(

I like this compromise. Can't wait to see the rarer/"real" hybrid, I'm sure it'll turn out neat. c:
