Sketchy Stuff

Site Update

The Sketch Breeding queue is starting to feel a little lonely lately, so we've diversified the items made available in the USD Shop to encourage some assignments for the team's artists!

Aside from the release of a new talisman, there are three new package items that allow you to purchase a Sketch BC with its add-on items right off the bat. You can still get them in the BP Shop if you prefer using BP, but more options are always good!

The Sketch Artist Ticket has been updated to allow you to select a minimum of three artists for your breedings. Bear in mind that Cerine and Nui are no longer on the team, so please don't select them when ticketing!

You can still exclude two artists from your sketch breedings for free as normal!

Enjoy!

glad to see that the sketch ticket was reduced from five to three. especially with two artists having left the team. made the sketch artist ticket thingy rather pointless as 5 equates to more than half of the sketch breeding artist [according to the KB at least] (which I think is just 7 or 8 total artists now... or something like that xD; )

Nui and Cerine left the team? O_o I really love their sketches and was hoping for one by Nui... And a question regarding finishing off the sketches: Do you need 2 sketch pens? For each baby one? Or, if you used a derpy dragon with the breeding, is one sketch pen enough?

If ever there's sketch bp.... It would be fun to start a breeding project. :P

Keera (#47437): Without a derpy dragon you get one offspring only, so one pen is enough. If you use a derpy dragon, there will be two babies and you'll need one pen per offspring.

I don't care. I want my way overdue RBC babies back

JAK (#15) any chance of getting the sketch pens in the shop by themselves? Or a package deal on 2? they are impossibly hard to come by right now and are really taking the fun out of the coin for me xD

I like Valyria's suggestion of the pens :S They're a struggle for everyone. I like that BP has taken on an important role though. It's difficult to want to use too many SBC's if you're unsure you will ever finish/ get enough funding to do so xD

If turning the bred babies from the sketch pen into real pets was cheaper, I might be interested. It's really discouraging how expensive it is to do that, especially when you have to come up with the art itself as the pen doesn't work like a MDT. Making the pens more accessible would probably do more to push the SBC queue than these changes could.

It's weird to me that buying a PBC and Life Seed is cheaper than SBC + Derpy Dragon + 2 Pens, and you get more because you get shading and coloring with it. It just doesn't make a lot of sense. :(

Maybe also if you could make small edits to the second baby compared to the first when you use the pen it would be more interesting - since you're doing/commissioning the final art yourself, what does it matter?

Faebull (#6217) caveSalamander (#64257) very much in agreement with both of you :) I'd love to use more coins but I'm having a hard enough time with the ones I already used! so hard to get them all finished...

I made a suggestion thread - hopefully others agree with us as wel :) since they're in the shop with the coins I don't see where the issue could be with putting them on on their own
