Valentines Day is the international awareness day for people born with a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD). Every year, children are born with heart defects, that may very well end up affecting them for the rest of their lives. I'm glad there is an awareness for this. My sister was born with the defect and passed away when she was a baby. Her heart was malformed where she would've needed a heart transplant and they said she would've been a "bubble baby". There wasn't much knowledge back then and we would always be asked what it was, so we would always say she was born with a broken heart.
