Today's Erratic Site Behaviour

Site Update



Due to an unfortunate glitch in the Talisman system, many of you will have noticed lag, outages, and a short period of time where the site was taken offline. We apologise profusely for these interruptions in your gameplay, but are glad to say that the problem has been resolved.

Sadly, we are aware that some users may have purchased items that were gained through this glitch, which will have now disappeared from their account. If this has happened to you please contact me with which item, how much you paid, which feature you purchased it through (user shop, trade post, etc), and if possible which user you purchased it from. Refunds will be issued in these cases where we can find corroborating evidence in the system.


If you are someone that used a talisman item since Tuesday, and the product still remains in your user shop or trading post lots, please immediately remove them and send them to me. There will be no penalty for those cooperating.

i had several upgrade talasmans that i bought a while back however they are gone from my inventory i payed several million bp each

does this include items such as the shard talasman and pugrade talasmans?
i just bought a shard talasman and it worked fine

A I explained in my PM, the talismans themselves were not removed from accounts, and as far as I am aware the glitch was fixed =) There seems to be a few new ones happening with pre-existing items for people, which I have made the coder aware of and hopefully we can resolve that soon!

I don’t think this effects me but there have been time I was doing Chaos Cooking and normally don’t check what’s left for objects like butter.

Eveglori (#2775) How about regenerating items? I have a total of around 24 Boxes of Fauna, and open 3 or 4 every day. Yesterday I didnt have any regenerated, even though I had not missed a day...

Yours should be fine Sandy =) The glitch was fixed, and no one should have any issues with their Talismans - of course, if one does arise then please come and let me know ^^

Regarding regenerating items, myself, another admin, and our coder have all tried to replicate the issue with regenerating items and we've been unable to - ours all seem to be doing what they should, and are where they ought to be. I'll keep an eye on mine for the rest of the week, and see if anything weird happens. For the moment I would say that whatever issue they had is resolved, and while you might lose one charge, it should regenerate as normal and have no further issues. Of course, again, if that isn't the case then we will definitely look into it again =)
