It's more the colors on the base, not the design itself that makes it seem "boring", and even then it's not.
Plus we could so use more unisex non-frill clothes. I mean I also personally love 4 and 5(especially that one) but the pure potential and fun that can be had w/ 2(plus dat hair <3) wins out to me.
We've always had swathes of people begging for more masculine/unisex monthly clothes, here and on the confessions blogs.

The thing I don't like about the pirate set is the belt with that scarfy thing... it just has a weird look... maybe it would have looked better if the artist put on a pirate hat or eye patch rather than the odd looking belt... It doesn't feel like it fits, more like it was tacked on at the end to give it an extra piece.

If you reenter the monster base again, I would suggest putting a glove on the other hand, so it looks more balanced when colored. I just thought that it might look odd with only one glove <3

Taena (#66637) - the "pirate set" wasn't really meant to be a pirate at all from the beginning and you're right the belt was "tacked on" mostly because I felt the lower right corner became empty and boring and since I realised the ship would make people associate to pirates I allowed myself to be inspired by the sashes with guns and swords stuck in them, that all self respecting pirates in movies seem to have :) Sorry if it looks odd. An eye patch never even occured to me - probably because my original inspioration was Jane Austen! ;)

Voluspa (#67552) I do have to say I am loving the boots (are they separate from the pants?) Maybe if it wins some one should make a matching eye patch for the T4T shop? -giggles- that could be fun ^ ^

Taena (#66637) yes the boots are separate :) It's shirt, trousers, boots, sash, hair and background :) and yes the eye patch sounds like a perfect idea for T4T actually :)
