As far as I know existing pets are not affected by this, but I would hold off on all pet activity at this moment in time to ensure that nothing can go wrong for you =)

Oh I just saw the edited post. Man y'all just wanna give me three days of anxiety! Glad it's being delayed instead of an arbitrary release. I sat around refreshing here and there for at least six hours last night, just in case.

I know there's a lot of us on staff chomping at the bit too because there's still eggs to get and pets to claim, so we're on board with your frustration and lack of sleep there. Sometimes things happen out of our control and it seems that December wanted to start off with the wrong kind of bang XD;

It seems so! I do understand this sort of stuff just kinda happens, though. Hope December goes on with a better sort of 'bang' from here on out! I don't want more work for you guys, either. Especially not in what's probably going to be a busy month already for people!

Does this include claiming pets from the pound? I want to go snag one to use as glittering slab bait. (If that is okay to use as well?)
