A genus change amulet lets you take a pet and change it to a different genus. For example; say you really like https://www.aywas.com/images/pets/lacer/lacer_forestlantern.png, but don't like lacers. With a genus change amulet, you can make it into a Quolgarian (or whatever genus you like) Hope that explanation helps?
