Site Update
The Mystery Box has popped open as we've started gearing up to commission hundreds of custom pets for Black Friday!
If you're not familiar with the Mystery Box, you place a ticket inside to get a random prize. You get one free ticket for every purchase of $5 in GP or USD Items.
The question is, what custom pets should we offer for the Black Friday bonuses this year? Do you want Teos like last year, or would you rather see a slew of Fauxes? Leave your vote!
Mystery Box Tickets leave on 11:59 PM on the 20th.
In case you didn't see the message on the Purchase GP Page, if you purchase USD items, be sure to send a message to #15 with the total amount to redeem tickets!
Interested in making customs for Black Friday? Black Friday customs are usually about 75% edited. They pay $50 upfront for a set of 5 colorations on the base, and come with a $100 bonus if the set sells out during Black Friday (or a lesser bonus if they sell out after Black Friday).
Want to apply to make Black Friday customs? Send #15 a message with an example of your custom designs (GCC preferred). If you've worked on customs for previous sales, mention that too! :)
Note: Customs will not be obtained through bonus credit due to it not working out in the previous time. They will obtained as a reward for spending during the sale, specifically.

Tequila Mockingbird (#64472) I have used the gift cards before. You redeem them on amazon and the money is added to your amazon account. Then once you buy something through amazon on here, the money is subtracted from your account. The default settings on amazon have it set to use any money already on the account for payment before charging money to the credit card.

How do you pay through amazon and not amazon payments? When I select pay with amazon. it goes to amazon payments website. not amazon.come. amazon payments I think is an offshoot and not connected to the amazon.com website. I don't understand how a gift card is used with amazon payments when amazon payments does not list gift cards as a viable source. Last time I made a purchase thinking it would just deduct from my amazon.com account, it deducted from the credit card.... When was the last time you used a gift card? May things changed when amazon payments changed (I believe it had some sort of re-do recently, I'm not 100% sure though..).... I'll go into help for other opinions too. I've been struggling with this the past few purchases. I got a gift card last christmas and i have been wanting to use it here.. but it never seems to work. is there a way to pay through amazon.com and not amazon payments?? O.o

The Amazon payments faq page says you can't use Amazon gift cards with 3rd party sites, so you wouldn't be able to use one with Aywas. Maybe it's changed since Bat has used it but it looks like that is their current policy.

I have tried as well, I had a credit that was applied as an Amazon gift card and it told me it could not be used with Amazon Payments, just for purchases off the Amazon.com website it's self.

Ah! So I wasn't imagining I read that (what you said about gift cards not being applicable). I thought maybe there was some other way because of what bat said but I guess the policy has changed or something. It is definitely something amazon won't admit on the site as that would be a very positive update for the majority of buyers (if not all), lol. When I tried to look to see it, I did notice that some sort of payment option was phased out so maybe that was it.. but yeah.. like I said.. all it talked about was how much greater the new one is... I also noticed it said you had to make an personal account through amazon payments and not just go through payments via amazon like apparently it did previously... Maybe that is how people got to pay with gift cards in the past. Eh, whatever I guess... I'm just glad I'm not the only one had trouble /read that it wasn't supported so at least I'm not super confused anymore, haha xD

Kita & Riri (#3988) Tequila Mockingbird (#64472) I don't pay directly with the gift card. I redeem the gift card on amazon.com which adds the money to my account. Then when you pay with amazon payments, the money is subtracted from my amazon account. Or at least that is what should happen. I never checked to see....*checks*....oh....it said it takes aways from gift cards first....it didn't....huh....I guess I owe my dad 40 bucks now..... *quietly exits room*

*pat pat* It's okay. I made the same mistake previously. Plus, people have mentioned gift cards in the past.. so it is kinda like a quasi rumor.. and rumors aren't rumors unless people fall for them (to offense to those people! stuff happens.) To perhaps give light to what happened.. I think it does take out from gift cards first. but only when buying stuff from amazon.com. I think amazon payments is kinda separate. Like an offshoot or subsidiary or something. You use the same password and email. But certain things are not connected. Like credit balance. You can have credit on amazon payments. But I think that credit would actually be money either sent to you by someone (I think that can be done with personal accounts to a smaller extent than merchant accounts) or money you transfer over form your bank.. as there is a thing where you can connect amazon payments to a bank account... But yeah... gift card balance is basically only for the actual amazon website.. the third parties are probably vendors that sell through amazon.. but they aren't entire amazon...idk how to explain.. You've probably seen what I'm talking about.. granted you've shopped for not mainstream things on amazon before. Amazon is rather extensive lol. So the bright side is there will always be something neat to get with your gift card. Just aywas stuff ain't it. uwu;
