The Mystery Box has popped open as we've started gearing up to commission hundreds of custom pets for Black Friday!
If you're not familiar with the Mystery Box, you place a ticket inside to get a random prize. You get one free ticket for every purchase of $5 in GP or USD Items.
The question is, what custom pets should we offer for the Black Friday bonuses this year? Do you want Teos like last year, or would you rather see a slew of Fauxes? Leave your vote!
Mystery Box Tickets leave on 11:59 PM on the 20th.
In case you didn't see the message on the Purchase GP Page, if you purchase USD items, be sure to send a message to #15 with the total amount to redeem tickets!
Interested in making customs for Black Friday? Black Friday customs are usually about 75% edited. They pay $50 upfront for a set of 5 colorations on the base, and come with a $100 bonus if the set sells out during Black Friday (or a lesser bonus if they sell out after Black Friday).
Want to apply to make Black Friday customs? Send #15 a message with an example of your custom designs (GCC preferred). If you've worked on customs for previous sales, mention that too! :)
Note: Customs will not be obtained through bonus credit due to it not working out in the previous time. They will obtained as a reward for spending during the sale, specifically.

Ugg... so all teh bonus credit I've been saving since the mayDay Teo event won't be usable for the Black Friday event? It takes me a very long time to be able to make purchases... and it's mostly small ones that all add up...
so now it's like hey all that time you've made purchases and been saving up? yeah it's for nothing... I was specifically saving so I'd be able to get a black Friday Teo since I lost on on the Mayday ones where they went so fast.... this really sucks...

Ugh, I wish I could be happy about this but I relied on the credit bonus and don't see much of a point in spending anymore since that's all I seem to be doing.
Hopefully I can find things to breed with for GP around that time.
Good for those that can splurge lots at once at least.

yeah... I bought one of the special delivery packages a while ago.. figuring I could try to sell it... very few people want them and even though they cost $200 credit to cash in they are only worth about 50 gp if you can find a buyer... (had mine for about 2 months now and still can't seem to sell it). I guess I just have to wait until next month to see what kind of breeding things they add... or hold on and see if they put painted coins back in again like they did last spring...

I mean, I know they're expensive in credit but credit is extra you get for buying things so it's not going to go for a ton for it. Sad fact of the matter. Now, I get being disappointed all around, but I don't know if anyone remembers but credit for Teos almost destroyed the site which is why things have to be like this. Sadly, I'm not like;y to have any money come Black Friday myself.

has there ever been thought to limiting bonus credit use for large events with teos etc? That way people could still save till larger holidays, but they'd only be able to spend enough for 1-2 as far as first day and such(if it's 100+).

Aw no bonus...kinda bad for me to buy teos all in one go cause of the BAD rate in Canadian money X.x...So I would have so save up pays but if I do that I have to pass on mystery box...GAH!
