The August Premium Item is finally here, and it's the Fox Net! It took a while to be released because of coding issues. If your premium expired between now and August 1st, feel free to contact Kyu (#1010) to have your item sent to you.
The Fox Net is an additional item that can be used to claim a Faux in the Faux Box. When customs go into the pot, they are put on a seven day timer. When that timer runs to zero, they are eligible to be claimed with the Fox Net. Prior to that, they require a Faux Box, which allows artists and USD supporters first grabs at them, but after seven days permits other users to grab one.
As you may notice, all customs in the pot right now have been set on the timer. That gives you ample time to prepare to claim your favorite Faux - and any that might be added to the pot from this point forward.
Enjoy the premium item now that it's finally out and be prepared to catch your favorite Faux in seven days!

I am confused about two things! D:
-Are these the only faux nets in existence? Would there be a way to get more Faux Nets?
-What happens if a Faux isn't grabbed after the 7 day period? Do they stay in the box until claimed, or do they disappear?
these might be dumb questions, but they've been bugging me for a while!

Aww, poopy, that is so disappointing.. And the fact it is mostly so, is very misleading. I fell for it, hook, line, and sinker ;-;.. And it's kinda weird/random too... I have a feel that it might not be on purpose, but alas, I guess that is how it is, thus that means, if you have a fox box and not a net, you'll have to search through, like, a million fauxes (exaggeration, I know, lol, but there sure is a lot!) when new ones are added and that sounds like no fun at all, especially for the artists whom want one from their own set.. They have enough trouble just being online at the right time... y'know, as being a person with a life which tends to have obligations and such, after all. I feel for 'em... :c

Will the Fauxs which escaped be in a different section? I don't think sifting through 420 something pages of Fauxs is feasible...

Personally I think fox nets should appear in the GP shop, rather than the USD shop.
... also I really think there needs to be something to sort these by how much time is left.
The question about whether foxes are eligible to be grabbed by Boxes after they're up for net capture hasn't been answered either -- though it does seem like you'd be better off selling the box and buying a net + some left over.

Gonna be watching the baby I want everyday; counting the hours. Gonna make tons of coffee; skip work if I gotta.
