Yeah I know... that's the one thing that sucks about this... the set you love the most gets stuck in the GP shop so 90% of the time you can't afford it...

Prayer circle for a non-pink, non-rainbow, non blue/white design to make it into the top three one day. or a round with none of those in it. They're all done well, but man am I tired of other really great designs being overlooked for the "sparkle desu".

Maybe check the shops for the current Monthly set. Most of those are brown/nature with green background (admitted, one of them got a blue tree in the backgrouns).
Oh, and the month before that: BP set was Black/Red and PP set was Black/Orange.

Black/Orange, BTW, does just as well as galaxy in number of accepted sets... Not really sure where you're getting the pink stat. Pink sets almost never do well. ;)

Wow, so many shots are being fired this round. It seems like after the voting for the RCC, so many rude people have popped up just spoiling everything nice. Especially voluntary artists, I feel so bad for everyone who has been dissed, admittedly we have made few comments about wanting more male bases, but after reading comments & several other points we took back our complaints. But here recently, nobody has taken back anything, apologized for anything & admitted their wrong. It saddens us to see so many people fall to rudeness. (Especially over the SCC) A lot of users are driving out many good artists & soon they're will not be anybody left.....Or at least that is where it is going. ~ Valice

Well, I knew going in that Rainbow Galaxy Sparkle would get some strong reactions. It's everything the "anti-girly stuff" people hate.
Which in itself kinda is reason enough for me to do it. You talk trash to artists for making somewhat girly stuff... You get rainbow galaxy sparkle sets in return. ;)

What get's to me is more when people start to come with downright fake statistics in their complaints. Pink sets actually do surprisingly *lousy* in the monthly competition. Pastel blue/pink/purple combos does well, and purple in general does well. But sets where pink is the main colour - or just takes up about half the set - very rarely wins.
And like said, you only need to look at this month's set (still in stores), to see sets without pink, rainbows and blue/white.

Sad thing is: You can ask for the things you want without bad-mouthing anything else.
You can say nice things about the designs you'd love to see win, without talking trash about the others. It's not so hard to ask for things nicely, and get the people that produce those to want to do more of it.
