"Hey, hey! Look over here! I got in some more stuff for you to buy! but this time, I'm only taking mochi, because those are so, so tasty..."
The final round's currency is the Pride Mochi Packet! You can use these items to trade in for Event Shop content, or you can save them until after the event and open them into little Mochis (collectibles). Your choice!
This round, you can get a trunk of many different colored wings to celebrate your favorite identity.
There's also a box of sparkles that'll give you lots of sparkly backgrounds for your HA!
There's a lot of great items in the shop this time, so why not go take a peek?
Be sure to check out all the great pets - and some of them have very educational descriptions that you can check out in the Aywapedia.
Were you bummed to only have two Pride Candles? The Pride Candle is hanging out in the USD Shop for $5.00 so you can collect any other Teos you happen to desire. It'll leave the shop on the 1st, so act fast if you want one.

Here's the thing... I only just realized that "straight pride" was used by hate-groups a couple of days ago. Because that doesn't happen within my country! Not only are homophobic hate-protest rare, but if they happen it'd be in another language using different terms (And yes, I do happen to be straight, CIS and in a North European country).
Until a few days ago, I simply considered the desire for "heterosexual rainbow pride items" a sort of silly contradiction. I didn't get the extremely unlucky extra subtext that just don't exist where I live.
There's been a fundamental lack of understanding about "everyone else not being just like me" from a lot of people in this event. On both sides. So saying that people "could just google it" is deeply problematic.
To grab an example mentioned elsewhere, did you type in "fibromyalgia" to learn what it was all about? I don't think you did.
To spread information and knowledge, you need to make it easily accessible. Not just yell at people for not googling it. That solves nothing.
Some of the things taken for granted that everyone knows here are deeply culture specific. And not everyone on Aywas has the same culture.

I didn't want to go back here but I'm just gonna mention that real quick, I had never heard of "Straight Pride" before this conversation here started up. It's not a thing in my country either (though, my country being Germany, I am aware of the term "White Pride" and the similarities). I do not expect people to have knowledge of everything, but truth is, we ARE on the internet here and have vast knowledge available right at the click of a few keys. If I am not absolutely sure what I am talking about, I always look it up. But I get your point, which is why I agreed that an FAQ for this event would've been useful for everyone.
Though it does bother me that me and a couple others have tried to explain things to unknowing people multiple times in this discussion, and it ends with being told we are oppressive and narrow-minded. People can't demand being educated by others and then give us that, such behavior is the reason people like explaining issues less and less. Just to mention that~
PS: I have to admit I did not google fibromyalgia, though simply for the fact that I work in a hospital and already know what it means. Which brings me back to my point. If I know something, I can talk about it, if I don't, it is my responsibility to educate myself first.

58686 I actually am educated about the mogii as I'm guessing you are referring to me. As I stated, I spoke to someone from America on here which made me understand it and definitely appreciate it as I am a huge supporter of the mogii society.
However, not everyone on here is so lucky to be explained what it is all about, which is why I suggested for next year it mightbe best to explain what it is all about for those who do not know.

Aria T'Loak (#58686) Also to use whatyou said, I was trying to explain how there are huge cultural differences on this matter, but it seems to me while you simply ignored that. While I never ignored any part of what you said, however I do disagree on some points, which is what discussions should allow.

I appreciate your effort as a supporter, I really do! If you truly want to "build bridges", then spread the word! Educate other people in your surroundings. Stand up when people get mistreated for being gay, or trans, or anything else that isn't cis/het. That is "the start" I was talking about. ^^
Encouraging discussion and exchange of experience and knowledge is my part of building bridges, and I'm building all the bridges I can, trust me. I keep talking about this systematical oppression because people need to listen.

Wait, really?
"Thanks for that. The phrase "straight pride" alone makes my skin crawl because I've had it screamed at me by hate groups way too often at demonstrations. "
This doesn't really fit together if you never heard about it before this conversation... Shared profile?

@Kanein
I think I'll switch over there. I've been mostly in the Rainforest.
