This round of Teos has something different from the previous two! In this round, you can participate in an auction for a "PSD Use" of your favorite line set. That way, if you missed out on a certain Teo set, you can give another shot at getting one!
Teo PSD Use Auctions!
The auctions are based on a tier system, where your auction reward increases based on the final bid:
$5 - $99 -- PSD Use of Teo. Send an admin the colored image and it will be uploaded over your "blank Teo."
$100 - $149 -- Comes with MDT Your Teo will come with an MDT so you can commission one of our MDT artists to color it.
$150 - $199 -- Skilled Teo! Your Teo will come with all Hidden Item adventure skills as well as the Lockpick skill.
$200 - $249 -- Breeding Pair! You will get two Skilled Teos of the base you won, and two MDTs. Great for bidding with a friend!
$250+ -- Breeding Upgrade! You will get two Skilled Teos of the base you won, two MDTs, and a Rare PMBC Pack. Great for bidding with a friend!
Note that these auctions DO NOT count toward Bonus Credit!
These auctions end in seven days, so have fun and enjoy them! Be nice and don't hurt each other over the Teos! ;)

We have a very, very big change planned for June and we had hoped that this sale will help provide some "financial padding" for the change... we think you're going to like it, as it's been asked for for a while! Please purchase what you can so we can confidently give it a shot!
TO CLARIFY- These auctions are NOT to drive the new change. These auctions are intended to raise the $17,000 promised to the Teo artists if their sets sold on the first day (170 sets x $100 bonus). Because most people spent bonus credit saved up over months on the Teos instead of spending USD in the sale to get them, we are now severely in the hole again and will not be able to pay people anymore (programmers, artists, server, etc) if we cannot make this money to pay the artists. It was an oversight with the implementation bonus credit and will be rectified if we survive this mistake.

Tequila Mockingbird (#64472) - The site is usually very self sufficient - the chargebacks were a huge thing and are not common for such huge amounts. The USD auctions originally were the first of it's kind on Aywas. This is just a rocky period it seems with too much going on all at once things got muddled and mistakes were made. Hopefully this round of USD auctions will end that period and things can go back to peaceful. This is def not the norm around here.

I used to feel that Teos where really special, but I after this Mayday I feel like they're everywhere. I mean, 800+ (?) went out yesterday and they are up for breeding all over the place. They're def not worth $100+, at least not to me.

oh dear. my sister and I were actually talking about this yesterday. she asked "how does the site even make money then??" and told her that it's usd credit and that there were 5 in each set. despite that, it seems that that wasnt enough to barricade it by months-worth-collection :\\ i honestly dont really see a perfect solution for this thou at the moment (except to lessen the number of teos overall) that won't seem to wreak havoc :u if you choose to remove the "+100$ if on first day" thing, it might bring up problems on the artists' side, while placing down an "expiration date" for credit would definitely bring up problems with the user base (ie. after 2 months, your credit will vanish; thus, only purchases within the last 2 months can get anyone teos when the time comes). i don't know thou :\\ just some thought -prince poke-

Eh, for credit- letting folks redeem credit for mystery tickets, like 10$ or 20$ per ticket might blow off some excess saved up credit. XD
Having it expire seems bad- and hopefully a few artists volunteer to only get half their bonuses or something.

Fannish (FreeFlier) (#1818) im not really sure about the "mystery tickets" to be redeemed. Thou it could be given out as a method of relieving some excess credit, we'd have to take into consideration WHAT they can give out at this point. If it would be similar to the mystery box/ticket things from before where you would get a RANDOM item of okay-ish to WHOA AWESOME value, then there is the idea that there would be an influx of items at a point.
if we're going to have a thing for like, mystery tickets or something, perhaps we can have like, a monthly raffle instead :u like, each ticket would be 1 credit or something along the lines, and something special like an exclusive custom could be given out (ie. perhaps a custom that can only be obtained through this raffle, and the base will be the same for each year/half a year. that'll bring up to a limit of 12 or 6 of that species in total in the site).
I don't know :u i guess it just cause the idea that the the mystery ticket would be open 24/7 would be a bit too much (due to the fact that the items are in fact, random; thus, we dont know whatll really come out of it). unless i'm misinterpreting something :u -prince poke-

Not sure they should make an expiration on credit as it would make people semi reluctant to spend money when not followed by a means to spend it. that could hurt the site VERRY badly only providing burst donations with little in between.
But perhaps raise the prices of people using the credit? People will need to save more but at least the money they donate will always remain. I mean credit is a bonus currency. We already get the items we pay for so making the price a bit higher for thing shouldn't be too bad I would imagine,
Or perhaps allow people to spend their credit on other things more frequently. like use the credit to buy things from the USD shop for 4 usd credit for 1 usd dollar (so $40 credit for a 10 dollar item?) or some usd custom species being sold threw it to help drain some of the funds?
Just a few ideas to try to help.
Overall though for this USD auction I am excited for this second chance to get something on lines I missed!

Also adding it's really messed up but only recently have I at least seen it being like this so IDK. The economy is still pretty messed up in the US. Our household is at if not under the poverty line. We're finally getting back to an okay place and terrified of becoming homeless again myself. I know it's not as bad as it was, or at least I'm told that but I keep seeing all kinds of stuff.-shrugs- IDK if that is any of it or not but my 2 cents on the matter.
