Choose Your Artist

Site Update

Okay! It's the 16th, which means it's time to choose your PBC artists! If you go to the Standing Stones and click on your PBC breeding, you'll see the list of artists. We have over forty artists to choose from and you can pick as many as you want and change them whenever you'd like! The more artists you choose, the faster your breeding will be done.

Artists, remember, if you'd like to apply to PBC, come fill out this application form and we'd love to have you.

Remember that starting April 20th, artists will be able to start claiming the oldest breeding in the queue with them named as artist. And also don't forget, you can add Artist Tickets and bonus items and anything you'd like to breedings you already have submitted!

Come check out the PBC queue here!

Enjoy!

Nevara & Blue (#19257) Fair enough point for not knowing how rejections would affect things yet. For the other point, I don't think that many artists would want to reject paying jobs that they can't get back into their queue on the off chance that the next one up will happen to be one they feel like doing more at the moment. Perhaps there could be a way to make it so that if you are the only selected artist for a pair, you're unable to reject?

What about my breeding that was assigned to kuri 4 and a half months ago? Do I not get babies from her? :((

We can't force artists to sign up or do their babies or even stay onsite. If they don't want to be part of the site, then they don't want to be part of the site.

I don't even see my breeding in the pbc list. o-o It says "assigned to helper! 0 days" but i don't know who my pbc artist is, or if it is still assigned to kuri.

I think if an artist had a steady queue and had the luxury of being able to be picky about what breeding they would were to take they wouldn't worry to much about rejecting things. Those are the people that have the most breedings as well, and I think it would invite problem that the site isn't yet ready to deal with. I mean, imagine in Syncline just rejected twenty breedings one day? There would be a lot of upset. It's a good idea, though, just needs more refining in the sense that it should only be applicable when an artist is not capable of doing the breeding. However, that's a fight for another day xD.

I know Kuri said she was going to finish her current list and then resign, but I don't know for sure. You could always contact her above all else :).

Nevara & Blue (#19257) Hmm. Maybe you're only able to reject 1, then you're stuck with the next? xD That'd be more of an incentive to only reject if you really can't handle the current one, I think~

Yes, though I still don't think users would approve such a feature yet, since we don't know if this revamped PBC queue is going to actually help queue times like we all hope. Maybe after that's been proven or disproved we'll see :).

I'm extremely against artists being able to reject pairings. These are breedings, not commissions. All the poor users who like unpopular things are already in a tight spot trying to find artists who they think could draw them, if artists could reject it would only get much worse. Some GCCs sit unclaimed for months. We don't need the same with breedings.

I totally think the same. I think everyone should have the chance to get babies from an artist they like without the fear of getting rejected. Other breeding teams aren't able to reject pairs either.
