New Pet Shop Stock & Adventure Pets

Pets

miksa_icon.png
Hello everyone! I wanted to let you know that I changed the stock in my pet shop! The old pets were retired and they're in loving forever homes now! I found some wonderful, beautiful, new pets to share with you and they're happily on sale and ready to meet their new owners!

Please remember that my shop is on a stock rotation schedule! As usual the stock will change every 3 months. After the 3 months, the pets currently in stock will be permanently retired and a new stock will replace them. So buy them while you can!

I've also found a few new pets out in the wilderness of the Aywas world. I couldn't make them tame enough to sell in the pet shop so I'll just show you them so you can catch them yourself.

If you want to design some Adventure pets, go and post them in their respective threads here! There's also a chance that the designs accepted from that forum will go into the Pet Shop! Remember, you can earn SP!

Along with the new Adventure pets, I've been given the fun task of pulling the tickets for the pet coloration submissions forum raffle! Oh, I just love these sorts of games!

Congratulations to khiton (#34905) for winning a Gold Custom Crystal in our monthly pet submissions forum raffle! *Claps*

If your design is now in the pet shop or in the new adventure release please contact Kyu (#1010) for your free copy.

I meant simply that "Mucus" is not the proper spelling of the word. It is spelled "Mucous"...

Don't mean to bust a bubble, but Mucus is the proper spelling since it is being used as a noun... >__>... As "Mucous" is adjectival form of "Mucus", the noun... and an actual word... blame the peculiarity of it all on science, not me :P

(is this how the posting system works in the news? I dunno.)

With the red lynx point oske, the point they are making is that red and lynx are the descriptors of the points, and thus should be in front of point. Red point lynx would be a red lynx with points vs. red lynx point being a cat with lynx points that are red. Adding Oske at the end is just because oske is in the name in the shop and not really relevant from what I gather of the post.

No No. No reason to be embarrassed... as I'mma be honest - My first reasoning was the same as you. But opposite! (until I did research because I am a huge nerd and I know better than just to act upon my gut and only my gut at this stage in my life lol). I didn't know mucous was a word until today... Or if I did, I had forgotten since then, aha. But yeah. I was confused for a minute.. and even went through a "if I'm wrong my whole life is a lie" moment because I thought you were correct before I thought I was right again... My eyes nearly crossed in the process I was so all over the place. That is when I remembered the genus and species thing which didn't occur to me at first. It was an a-ha moment for me and it made me overly excited for this time of day..night. Because I have the worst gut instincts. ever. and my gut was correct for once in my life. Buuuut... this excitement got me confused in regards to another comment *see below*... All in all, we all make mistakes. And we both learned something new today. For me it is Mucus is a weird word. Mucous is an actual word. And mucus is gross (this last part is not new but mucus' grossness when to a whole new level for me just now). In fact, I learned to much when researching mucus... Cookies were nearly tossed. I kid you not. And too many thoughts were thunk and realizations were made and I can't "undo"/"unthink" it no matter how hard I try. T_T (at least there were no pictures in the two articles I read.....I ..I just went too far in the wiki one.. too far indeed >___>)

Crapola. I read the comment wrong. And I spoke (wrote, whatever, heheh) wrong. double whammy of "my bad" haha. My point at the end was because I thought they were including oske the formula. And that when read with oske as the noun, that makes all three words of the species adjectives so no matter how you mix it, it comes out wonky. But re-reading that, I see that oske was written just because and it wasn't part of the actual point... so I agree with it now.. I might have agreed with it regardless if I was thinking straighter. They were only talking about the species name, when I mistook it as combining it into one big thing.. My brain couldn't switch gears, I guess. I'm not the smartest of people. It took me to long to come up with a reason why mucus was right because I thought mucous was right for a second.. then I was like waaaaiiit a minute... genus versus species name... and got stuck on that. Either because it is too late to be thinking. Or because I'm me. I dunno.

Also, mixed up the numbers a bit when pinging me ;p (so I didn't get pinged, I saw when m e r u pinged me. but there might be one confused jellyfish soon XD)
