Site Update
We have a new "Site Character" account now in use: Slashbot (#3).
The dedicated Slashbot account will allow me to more easily communicate with Slashbot/slot holders, keep track of uses, and answer any questions in a timely fashion. I literally receive hundreds of messages a day during busy times, many of which are urgent and/or complex, so having a separate Slashbot inbox will ensure nothing gets buried.
When you send a message to #3, once it is received and read, you will get a confirmation reply. However, please understand that it will still take time for your idea to be discussed, approved, and ultimately implemented. As much as we would love to add things to the site instantly--from new pets to new features to events--the process is just not that quick, even just for normal site happenings.
If you already have a Slashbot/Handheld World-related PM pending with me on #17, please send a new message to Slashbot (#3) containing a link to your original PM(s) with me on #17.
For all new Slashbot/Handheld World-related messages, from now on please send them to Slashbot (#3).
In either of the above cases, when PMing the Slashbot account, try to use the following subject lines (when applicable):
- Slashbot Slot Sold
- Slashbot Slot Purchased
- Idea Approval [No Slot] (insert type of proposed use here, such as New Genus, Event, etc.). Use this if you have a Slashbot idea and want to make sure it's feasible before making a purchase.
- Idea Approval [Slot] (insert type of proposed use here, such as New Genus, Event, etc.). Go with this subject line if you have Slashbot slot ready to use but it still needs to be approved.
- Date Reservation (insert type of proposed use here, such as New Genus, Event, etc.). Please note that this line should only be used if you have a slot, your idea has been approved, and you are just waiting on having it implemented/scheduled.
- General Inquiry
This will be a huge help to me--er, the Slashbot--in sorting through messages.
Some changes will also be made to the Slashbot item itself on April 1st. Basically, I'll be turning it into an actual usable item so that I do not have to manually keep track of slots anymore. As you can imagine, that's not very fun (and I don't think it's fun for sellers and buyers either). Why April 1st? It's not a joke, honest. XD That's just the first day of the second quarter in the year, which best fits the regeneration schedule that the Slashbot has (90 days).
I am also hoping to have the Slashbot/Handheld World KB guide done by April 1st, but in the meantime you can send your questions to #3.
I'm looking forward to working with you on all of your great ideas!
