I always wonder if you guys are like "gosh what is Eri even doing" when I'm not spamming you with news posts, but rest assured, I have plenty of things keeping me busy. XD (I'm also doing a ton of catching up on my inbox, so I will get to all of your messages as soon as I can!)

Fairly obsessively, if I am honest. When I log in, when I have flashies, but also occasionally to make sure I haven't missed a flash whilst in the middle of a marathon cooking spurt or the like. I also read back and reference old posts frequently.

I check often when I'm expecting something, like the announcement for an event that I know is about to start.

I also experience the delayed flashing notice, sometimes 15-30 minutes after I've seen the new post. It would also be nice if the flash notice was turned on be default. I just happened to stumble upon the option in my settings but I'm sure most newer players have no idea it exists.

When I log in andthen random points throughout the day when I am just randomly clicking around the site or looking for something to do or forgot what I was going to do or am watching tv.

Only when it flashes. Though I have missed some because it doesn't flash all the time, about 95% of the time, but I have missed 1 or 2 big posts because of it. Its been a problem since the flashes came out, but since I had a lair partner back then, it was ignored as the partner seeing it first. Well, it still happens 2 years later after I lost the partner .

~Scarborough~ (#25902) You can change your settings to send you a notification when there is a new news post.

"As soon as I get a flashing news notification. " would be more accurate for me, though ^^

Ok I've never seen anything flashing at me. Where does this happen?

I love the flashing news notification. ^^

When I log in I'll check the news/see if anything has changed, but if I'm already logged on I'm notified by the flashing news notification. ^^
But as already stated, sometimes the flashing notification doesn't work quite right - If I've been online for some time, and the notification appears and I go check it, the notification will appear again almost immediately. But I've never paid attention to the amount of time between it appearing and the post being posted.
Though sometimes the notification doesn't appear at all when a news post is posted.
